It's only when I read this stuff that I remember that you're actually American. That menu is so...white. :woot:

I'm taking that as a compliment, not because my menu is white, but because you don't routinely notice my American-ness.

^ judging by the skin on it, isn't that tea getting a bit cold?

Lol,yes. We had been sitting there talking for a while before we thought about paying attention to the tea.

I got some new fancy teas. I'm having a black tea with "sizzlin sweet cinnamon" - it's lovely. Smells like "red hots" candy, tastes. . . interesting - I like it.

We made these rainbow cupcakes for my daughter's birthday:

It's vanilla cake with strawberry banana cream cheese frosting, chocolate candies, and sugar glitter sprinkles.

A rainbow is a real thing though, right? And these cupcakes are stylized after a rainbow, right? Homosexuals cannot copyright a word.

They did in the 1970s with "gay". l watched a re-run of Johnny Carson from that time this past week and he used it in this way. Before this, "gay" meant carefree, like in the "Gay 90s" as used in the 60s' beer commercials.

Did you have to use this word?

Yes. I refuse to be controlled.

Today, Sloppy Joe (that's the American version of qeema, for you South Asian folks) on homemade oat-wheat bread, with salad. I thought it was good. People ate without complaint. My husband offered this assessment: "I thought the bread was good anyway."

Hmph. I don't see any leftovers.

Homemade? After mowing the hay in your yard? (knee high you wrote)

Well, if hubby or your sleepy-son mowed the hay, they wouldn't have Soggy-Joe mush.

Oats belong in a bowl, anyway.

I may have exaggerated the lawn height, and my husband did mow it.

They liked the oat bread.

Deutsche is much better. Has a real taste.

Not like French stuff: glittering and requiring a lot of imagination.

Reality vs. Dreams

I haven't eaten German chocolate cake. I can't imagine that it would taste better than this. This cake is difficult to top. Seriously.

I suggest you go buy me 3 packs of chocolate chip cookies. And then I will consider whether to give you a couple of cookies or not :hahaha::D

Cookies are cheap. Shrimp is expensive.

And unless farmed raised, full of micro-plastics.

Instead of all this excessive talking, @hasanhh, you should do something valuable - go get me the cookies. And some ice cream while you're at it. :D

Yallah! Chop, chop. I'm waiting.

Thanks. :D

I don't know. Life's an emotional roller coaster. Get used to it. :D

Now I have 4 different types of cookies and 6 types of different ice creams.

I'm happy

Yes :) As I said before. I'm a small person.

I ate timmen bagille with chicken, mild Turkish yoghurt and orange juice.

Today it's Friday. It's mustahabb to start the day by eating a pomegranate so I have prepared one on the kitchen table. I love pomegranate!

Jumah Mubaraka everyone! :)
