You can't say that about food.:threatenlumber:

What animal eats that?  Bears, skunks, and such.

Take the tomatoes out of it and its cat food.

Why do you write "hope" in such small letters? :hahaha: It looks like you are lacking hope in the mercy of Allah SWT. *kidding* :)

Is that rice with yellow spices and a bunch of stuff in it, similar to the Spanish paella?

What's that stuff that looks like winged-bugs ?

And no, it doesn't look the same.

The winged things are shells of some sort of clam or mussel or something. I have no idea why you'd want to include the shells in the dish.

It's pretty "American". Maybe @hasanhh can relate to it.

Not my photo, but looks just like my food.

Iranian Fries are good.

The ketchup is an Amerikan invention.

The dignity of a plate is definitely Amerikan.

But, sloppy-joe's? Very undignified. Messy. A waste of paper napkins keeping the mess down.

You must like washing a lot of shirts and blouses.

I am a very good miser - I waste nothing!

I enjoy an overstuffed sandwich, and ketchup is boring to me. I just eat the sandwich while holding it over the fries and get to have no loss of meat AND deliciously dressed fries.

Even with young kids, I don't recall any napkin use at all this evening. (And no, none of us walked away from the table with messy hands or faces!)

So you use finger bowls?

Seems as if the pre-Hawza programme focuses on peoples' dietary concerns.

Actually, I think it is focused on your blog. :)

Thank you for your concern! :) Normally I eat mild tacos, not too spicey because I can't tolerate too spicey food. So my tacos are mild and sooo tasty! :eat:

Well, hasanhh, you must pardon me as English is not my native language. I live in Europe and speak my European language perfectly. :surrender:

@Carlzone Why do you laugh?

Besides, you only showing your anti-Amerikanism.

Because I think you are funny :hahaha:

I was about to visit America last summer, but then Trump started his Muslim ban thing. I got angry and no longer felt that America deserved my money, so I went to Zurich in Switzerland on an amazing trip instead! I loved Switzerland and Zurich! What a beautiful city and country MashaAllah! I wouldn't mind living there

Had not Trump been so nasty I would have visited America by now. I might in the future. *trying not to hold a grudge* :hahaha:

Thank you very much! It's good to be corrected. That way one can learn and improve :)

When I say something wrong in Arabic, arabs only laugh at me and almost never correct me so I keep saying things wrong and they keep laughing

What should I eat if I come to America?

You should eat in a Muslim's home, or order vegetarian. It's very hard to find halal food here.

Where I used to live, there was a halal fried chicken and cheesesteak place. That's pretty good and pretty "American".

Why is this? In the U.K. there's quite a lot of halal food if I remember correctly. Why is this not the case with the U.s.?

Only 3% of the population here is Muslim, and many of them believe that it's ok to eat not halal meat, as long as it isn't pork. The result is there's not much economic benefit to restaurants serving halal foods.
