"help with sleep" --so does melatonin seasoning; which according to the Cleveland Clinic heIps as an anti-viral agent for C-l9.

:D

Melatonin seasoning exists?

I think feeding it to my family would decrease my stress levels, which would help with viral resistance.

I can’t remember what I had for yesterday’s breakfast, maybe I skipped it. XP

For lunch I had leftover spaghetti with American cheese and mozzarella cheese, I think I had it with orange juice as well.

Last evening we ate black bean and corn quesadillas and salad.

Right now I'm having coffee with milk.

I think for supper we will finish up those beans from yesterday, and also have some cornbread and probably salad again. I use my mom's cornbread recipe, which makes the best cornbread in the world.

I need to figure out what to do with about 15 lbs of oranges. I'm thinking juice, but it seems a waste to discard the solids. Still, if I don't use them, the entire fruits will go to waste.

Hey folks, I'm growing my own "tea" nowadays. Maybe in a few months I'll offer to mail samples to folks in US. (I'm not offering to pay international shipping or navigate customs regulations!)

Ate: yesterday evening I needed to use up some leftover vegetables so I mixed them with shredded potatoes and beef sausage and served a hash brown casserole.

Eating: leftover hash brown casserole and a cup of Yaupon and apple "tea". It isn't tea, it's "tea" because there is no Camelia sinensis, aka tea, in it. Yaupon is a caffeinated holly plant native to North America. The taste is unique - I'd describe it as green and earthy - it's good, but better when mixed with other flavors. I do have an actual tea shrub too, but it isn't ready for even a small harvest.

Will eat: tonight's super supper plan is lemon basil chicken and rice. Probably will have salad with, because I still have veggies that need to get eaten soon.

sass-ee-fras ?   :D

We have a few here. When I was a kid, we used to dig it up and boil the roots for sassafras tea every time we found it. When I bought some sassafras tea concentrate at the store, none of my family liked it so I haven't bothered to harvest what's growing wild in my yard.

l always thought it was a little 'thin.' No taste.

That's what my kids and husband said too. When I was a kid, we all considered it a rare treat and it still tastes good to me, even the store-bought, but I'm not going to buy it only for myself. I may someday dig some up only for myself - especially if we're clearing the area where they grow, but I haven't yet. For now, we're leaving that area wild because it screens us from the neighbors.

I made beans and cornbread for last night's supper. My husband requested that I make a sweet corn bread, which I had never made before. I added a little molasses and a little honey to my regular recipe, and I think it was better than the sweet cornbread that I've tasted before. Might make again.

Probably will eat cornbread with my coffee and milk for breakfast.

And the menu says I'm serving eggs and fresh baked bread for supper tonight.

Some days.  We eat other foods on other days.  Usually I have two meals and sometimes a snack. I don't eat meat daily.  I'd be perfectly happy to have none at all, but my people want it.

Yesterday for lunch I went out with my father, this is the first time in my whole life, we sat together and ate in a restaurant. We both ordered crispy chicken sandwich with fries and diet cola. For lunch we had family time with my aunt and my cousin, the elders ordered barbecue, we ordered from raising canes, I had halal chicken fingers with diet cola, fries and coleslaw, 1 Texas toast and ofc the popular raising canes sauce.

Yesterday I ate from restaurants only because my cousin got married, I am so happy for him.

Congratulations, Insh'Allah you find a wonderful sister for marriage too. Are you in your 20s?

Thank you sister, yes I’m in my early 20’s.

Yesterday for breakfast i saw some leftover beef shawarma with fries which my dad brought, when I opened the other fridge I saw the leftovers fatayer as well which my father ordered as well, I knew it will be thrown away so I heated it up, I told to my young brother to eat with me. So we ate beef shawarma with fries, fatayer and orange juice.

For lunch I had Leftover lentil soup and for dinner I baked fish fillet with rice.

I know these days Im eating a lot of processed food or from restaurants, my father order a lot and eat less, we throw a lot of food. Just now my mom throw my sister’s meal from Raising canes that cost $11. I prefer eating unhealthy than throwing it.

Well today I had my favourite "chapli kebab" with naan and "Alu channa chaat" :itsok: I know a lot of calories... since I'm back home, I'm only having paki food but now I'm about to do some  to get rid of my guilty feelings

Today i had scrambled egg with 4 eggs for breakfast, yoghurt with muesli, rice with chicken for lunch and rice with chicken for dinner. It seems like a lot but for my height and that i lifted weights a lot before lockdown it was adequate. Despite being 90 kilos im skinny in my moms opinion and for that reason she feeds me a lot

We had a beef sausage and pepper stew, served on rice. There's none left over. It was good. Probably will make again.

I've got some fresh locally roasted coffee beans that I already set up in the pot for tomorrow, because I've had them a week, and other people keep not using them when they start the coffee early in the morning. Now they can't make any other coffee without first brewing these.

I usually have my coffee with milk.

And there's leftover rice that would make a good breakfast. I'll decide what, if anything, to put on it in the morning, but my default is butter, pepper, and parmesan cheese.

The local artisan coffee was really good. My people complained that it looked light, but after they tasted it, they didn't complain anymore. It's only a little more expensive than the cheap warehouse store stuff we usually buy.

Ate for lunch: leftover chicken and leftover green beans with buffalo sauce on leftover rice.

Eating (actually ate a few minutes ago) cheese pizza. Kids are happy.

Will eat: later I'll brew a cup of herbal tea. In the morning I'll probably have coffee with milk. I'll let whoever wakes up earliest decide what kind of coffee to use.

These days I'm on a diet. Gotta get myself fit and some more. I bought a rice maker which has made my life a lot easier. For dinner, I'm having brown rice with either just steamed vegetables and some fruits like pine apple with shrimp or a few chunks of baked chicken breast. For breakfast, I eat a pomegranate before eating my main meal of oatmeal(Sunnah of Prophet(SAW,), For lunch, I eat boiled egg whites with some cottage cheese along with 2 dates.

It's been a week so far so going good so far but man do I miss junk food. I also walk 3 hours a day 4 times a week.

I'm 6'1 and the ideal weight for me should be 85-90 KG. I gained weight and currently I am 120 kg So InshAllah, I go back to my original weight in 4-6 months realistically.

Pray for my success. ;D

would recommend counting calories(makes it easier to know your progress and wher you stand) and not eating foods with added sugar.

I ate Chipotle. Love that place!

I've never been to one, as far as I can recall, but I know it's popular.

Ate: homemade beef and vegetable soup.

Eating: decaf Earl Grey sweetened with my home grown stevia.

Will eat: I intend to finish the rest of the soup for breakfast unless someone beats me to it. Of course with coffee with milk.

And yes, I absolutely am bragging.
