New And Need Some Help

Forgive me but I am new on Shiachat and would appreciate it if someone could help me on the following two problems:

1. how do I add friends on shiachat;

2. why am I unable to like posts?

1) Go on their profile, top right corner click on add as friend

2) You need to have 50 posts, then you become an advanced member, then you can like posts

Yes it is most likely because you aren't an advanced member, when you get 50 posts (11 more woohoo :D) then you will be able to add people as a friend :D
