ok i didnt know where to post this :donno: but anyways..

there's a tasbeeh called tasbeeh of ummul-baneen (a.s). its basically rosary beads made of different stones

so i was wondering, does anyone kno what to read on such a rosary beads/tasbeeh? like sure yu can read normal tasbeeh on it, but anyone has any idea of specifics attached? like some amaa'aal which is associated with it and which could be mujrib?

thanks to all those who reply :)

yeah i have one of these; they are different stones each representing one of the sons of junaab ummul baneen (sa).

not sure there is any particular dua just for the tasbih - people do nazr in her name as amal, and usually there is a jaloos between najaf and kerbala once a year in her name, but i havent heard that there was anything to read just for the tasbih, could be wrong though. where did you hear this?

i just saw the tasbih, and well its absolutely beautiful

so i was just like whts the story behind the different colored beads and why so?

and i wondered if ppl read specific stuff , but i presume not cuz yu can do amaal on any tabeeh for tht matter

but seven stones for representing seven sons sounds logical, and no wonder its then called the tasbih of ummul-banin (a.s.)

btw. do yu think its something only in the subcontinent? or liek else where too

ppl said these things could be culture specific as well..

oo and while we're at it, can anyone pl name all seven sons of ummul banin (a.s.) plz? :donno:

thanks ^_^
