(salam)

I watched this video before, and it was nice to watch it again. Allah has blessed him tremendously. InshaAllah he learns about Shia Islam.

Thank you for sharing ..Alhamdulilaah....it been just over 20 years for me.. : ) May the brother stay strong and be brought into a good community and truthful companionship.

Brothers and Sisters, who are born in the deen you may or may not realise this but for many reverts the most commonly identifiable challenge reverts have is the feeling of not belonging to any community, particularly when it is identified by Nationality.

I must hastily add that this is however no fault of the existing communities ,but is rather the resultant of the collective being also reverts, existing Muslims and Society in general. My point and question is ,Would it not be right of me to expect a fresh opinion we hold about each other particularly on RACE and CLASS from the Ummah as opposed to the Outside world or am I simply too naive?

In short , I guess I am a saying that it would be nice if when generally interacting with Muslims one does not place the template of the Jahiliya and Shaitanic society and values to sum up a person or people and how we treat one person from a particular background that we are just as consistent to another ..just to throw it out there would many of us be just as responsive if the brother was a native Aborigine - unfortunately, I think not so!!!

Yeah man, your right hahaha  But let everyone explore different options first.

Or maybe it's because Muslims are "terrorists" ? =P

Very beautiful. This brother has very good sense of humor. I loved it. I loved it most when the brother said that he was looking for some miraculous sign for embracing Islam and he did not see any such sign and got disappointed but at that very moment he read a quranic verse talking about signs of Allah like Sun, Stars, Sky and Water and that these are signs for those who have wisdom. The brother got the answer and in the very next date embraced Islam.

Haha...a long time ago I heard in a lecture that the Prophet fed people before discussing issues of religion etc...or maybe that was just one incident :S

And they deceived and God deceived, and God (is) the best (of) the deceivers.

And they planned and God planned, and God (is) the best (of) planners.

The word deceived has a negative connotation

Salaam aleykom

mashaAllah, very funny and very touching...really sensitive guy..

Sub7an Allah...we have all the signs around us..

and that islam is the last option...yes, that's also a beautiful thing not only negative..

so they seek the answers everywhere..seeking seeking till they know what the other religions ARE and to compare with that..

then comes Islam to give them answers they never heard before and overwhelme them with truth and yaqeen..

Sub7an Allah

this is for us also to see and feel into our souls, we have to rediscover our faith and yaqeen (so drowned in culture and hate)

for RHMN

I do regret to say, unforetunately we, born muslims, cant understand the way you feel..because we are born into something and sooooo consumed by it, and so consumed with our differences instead of similarities..

it's like even when we "pretend" to have solved previous issues like racism and so we come up with new things...like which marji' you follow?!?!

but I do understand "alittle" bit of what you mean...the same may happen when you move from a country to another, and you acquire "new culture" or characteristics that doesnt fit into the old one..and so on so forth..you loose the identity, and unforetunately islam is not enough as an identity in our cultures..

really sad

thanx alot for sharing this vid, thank you very much
