i can tell you about some members whose posts i particularly appreciate:

(in no particular order - will post more as i remember them)

(1) MOHIB E AHLEBEYT - i am the last of my kind on this forum (all the rest were banned or left), but sometimes when people are ganging up on me he has my back.

(2) SIRAAT - legend. no other word.

(3) AL MUFEED - the guy teaches me something new every single time i speak to him, no meaningless chatter or banter, all we ever talk about is islam. has thebest akhlaaq of anyone i have ever known

(4) SO SOLID SHIA - uses humour to cover up the points he is making, total joker

(5) MARBLES - or ustad ji. the guy knows everything lol. posts are awesome

(6) SOCRATES - met him in real life, top guy, very knowledgeable mash'Allah

i need to dig out the individual posts of these guys, but some of the threads i appreciate are:

http://www.shiachat....83#entry2175883

the first thread to get me off the freemasons/ arrivals/ illuminati bandwagon and start looking deeper into matters

http://www.shiachat..../12651-taqleed/

the first topic which started me questioning taqleed (i was not ali da mallang, but my old name (ali dha mallang) was banned by admins by association)

http://www.shiachat....rics-and-songs/

the entire poetry section, i stalk it constantly

the favourite thread that i made myself, i have to say, is still this one

http://www.shiachat....alling-you-out/

and this one

Generally, I enjoy the posts of macisaac and Ya Aba as they are rich.

Baradar is also very funny.

Say whaaaaaaaaaaat?

You can't like both the posts of Ya Aba, and the posts of macisaac.

It's like having whiskey for iftar.

LOL

I like to learn about both ends of the spectrum.

I remember somebody went off on a long Illuminati tip and the first thing somebody posted was: "What the hell are you talking about!?" Which to this day makes me laugh cause the poster was so sincere in crazy tangents.

Best posters:

Ruh.Mujarad: someone who has taught me a lot and who mashallah has unparallel humility, akhlaq, and patience. He is also unmatched in his obedience to the Leader. Unfortunately, people didn't appreciate him and I'm guessing that's why he doesn't post that much anymore.

MAFHJ: his knowledge... his akhlaq... his Lebanesity... Nobody can touch him.

Ya Aba Abdollah: If I had a daughter I would throw her at him and force a marriage.

Orion: His only flaw is that he has too much patience in debating Akhbaris for pages and pages when really they just deserve to be given wet-handed slaps until the pool is empty.

habib_e_najjar: Commander of the Fatmeh Commandos, Afrika Korps. She hunts wild animals for fun. I am genuinely scared of her.

enlight_warner: When I was 16, I was only concerned with eating pizza and watching football. Enlight is 16 and the only time she takes a break from adding to her knowledge is to read Ziyarat Ashura or do a 30-minute long salaat. Seriously, try this: suggest to her a book to read, then a week later ask her how it was. She will have written a 10-page summary of it. I promise you.

Bhooka Bhairiya: Made Akhbaris look so retarded that he couldn't have been for real.

Hameedeh: Ummul shiachatters

velayat2011

DPRK_Guy: a really nice guy with great akhlaq who always defends the Islamic Revolution and the Leader. And mashallah I am impressed at how quickly he has caught on to the different deviant grouplets.

comrade_khodadad: Another shiachat casualty. He used to post a lot, and he wrote some very intellectual stuff. He knew how to argue using paradigms and frameworks, which is what laymen need. We need to use these, because without these we can be misguided by anything.

Marbles: His political views and ideology may be retarded, but he sure is handsome.

Mushu: One of my favorite young people on the site. Smart young man who can tell truth from falsehood and is ready to learn (while at the same time guarding himself against misguidance).

DeeeeeeeeeeeeBo: Don't think he's just a joker. He can drop some serious wisdom as well. And he's gonna find me a Lebanese wife (his words, not mine).

There's plenty more. Sorry to anyone who I have neglected to mention out of poor memory which old age has given me. Anybody who is in Emam's line and is posting on this site, may you get the reward for your hard work, inshAllah.

I will post my favorite post as soon as I find it.

My pick. I try not to miss anything from these members, whether I agree or not. In alphabetical order.

Aafreen: Posts rarely. It is hard to find a female who has such interest and command on matters of state and war.

Abu Hadi: You can't improve your Islamic akhlaq above this gentleman's level. Very insightful in mattes small and big.

baradar_jackson: A classic case of all that is wrong with the WFers. But the feelings are mutual

kadhim: A top guy with this head where it should be. Great to read his inputs.

macisaac: One of the ultra-conservative followers of classical Shia ulema in modern times; an Usooli nightmare, one of a kind hadith translator.

Maryaam: Exactly how a girl should think, say and behave. A paragon of female wisdom in these retarded times.

Maula Dha Mallang: Acid wit, passionate heart, and a source of constant headache for the conformists. There's simply none like him.

Psycopath: A previous member with a new name. I started off fighting him on the forum but discovered his mettle soon after. His posts, whenever they appear, are worth reading.

Zareen, Calm and InshaAllah: Looking for balance and always trying to maintain it. No wonder they are charged with the duty of policing the forum.

I am sure I have missed some great posters. Also, there are many old members who either left or turned inactive and whom I admired in good ol' days. NoorFatima, waiting, Iqra and Dialectician (who started "what are you reading currently") to name a few.

Well....this will sound bad. But I enjoyed Rothchild LOL....although not because I agreed with him. I mean what is a forum without its pet troll?

And I enjoyed Bhooka_Bhairiya on that level.

I will post my favorite post as soon as I find it.

Khamenei_Rahbar (aka Hawraa29): A hard core hezbollahi whose views are radical even for me. I keep trying to calm her down and tell her to open her mind a little bit, but she doesn't listen. She says I am a traitor to the Leader. Her radical views aside, I think she is a good shaytani sister who loves the Leader as a father.

Fiasco: Shaytani in taqiyya.

14infallibles: 15 years old, mashallah. I want to pinch his cheeks.

Blissful: Her new avatar means we're friends again.

Gol-e-Zahra: A purified mo'min. He has a great website called saharmedia which I agreed to help him with but unakhlaqily I didn't live up to my word.

Mahdavist: Indian Shahid Chamran, but not as shaytani.

Mohammad Ali: spells his name wrong, other than that a delightful young man

Nima: This brother came here confused and with lots of questions. Within a short amount of time he was firmly in Emam's line. #winning

muhammad_follower: He is ahlul khibra when it comes to Sayyed Kamal.

nemesis: Christian comrade who shares our love for ahlul bayt.

saraab: It's fun to talk Farsi with her. She talks like an Afghani.

wonderer: I don't know how anybody can be so cheery.

And I enjoyed Bhooka_Bhairiya on that level.

Bhooka_Bhairiya was a good and knowledgeable poster. The amount of trouble he got into for posting a few ahadith was ridiculous. Actually, he would probably have had an easier time if he didn't post any ahadith, and just gave his own views with no textual backup.

He was neither good nor knowledgeable.

He didn't "just post a few ahadith," he did false ijtihad.

May he be guided, or crushed, inshallah.

Shia_Debater: Cheeriest guy on SC. Makes you happy every time with his Iranian salaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaams. This guy has more hassanat than anyone on SC.

Kamran Syed: Best akhlaaq ever on the forums, especially with sunni-shia issues. Always advocating tolerance.

Fiasco & Kadhim: Witty, sarcastic posts that are legendary.

Al-Mufeed: Despite his muqassir ways in the chatroom, he's a very knowledgeable guy mashaa'Allah and always has an answer to your questions.

Habib e Najjaar:  What can I say? Beautiful posts, beautiful poetry and always has something positive to say.

Legio Invicta & Replicant: Their constant wahhabi bashing and bidah full posts are worth the read.

Ya Aba 3abdillah: Best admin. We need more like him.

baradar_jackson: always enjoy his anti-akhbari rants and deep attachment (dare I say obsession) with the Lebanese.

and deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeebo: my cousin in disguise :P witty one he is, but always says it how it should be.

more to come, sorry if I've missed anybody out!

He was neither good nor knowledgeable.

Compared to at least 99% of people on here he was good and knowledgeable.

He didn't "just post a few ahadith," he did false ijtihad.

So he wasn't an usooli? Boo hoo.

I prefer someone quoting rarely seen ahadith from Shia books, than those who spend all their time quoting the same old stuff from Bukhari and Muslim. Or those that use their own interpretation of the Qur'an and the ahadith to derive all kinds of deviant beliefs. It's funny how the person who essentially does taqlid to Shaykh Saduq is so severly attacked, but nothing is said to those people who are propagating beliefs that are borderline, if not outright, shirk. I think some people here have their priorities mixed up.

May he be guided, or crushed, inshallah.

May we all be guided.
