what is the difference between shia and hindu please elaborate:

a. Hindu worship idle made of sand and shia worship Allah thru so called small sajda gah.

b. Hindus celebrate several events where in they make state of the art GOD and GODDESS, and than throw it into water. Shia makes state of the art TABOOT and than throw it in water.

c. Hindus have different idle GOD with different name. Shia have different ALAM with different name.

d. Hinuds donates their money, food etc to these idle GOD and shia does the same to ALAM, Taboot, Horses etc.

Please give proper reference of quran and ahadees and kindly avoid any sarcastic comments. There is no hard feeling.

how, then, do we worship it?

we follow a prophet called muhammad (pbuh), i dont know if you know who that was, but he instructed us that when praying, we must always place our heads on some natural substance. clay is natural.

if you believe that we worship the sajdagah, then you must also believe that the prophet worshipped a god who took the form of a small mat made of date palm leaves.

a) we do not worship clay. We put our forehead on it because we have hadiths that indicate the Prophet (pbuh) put his head on natural substances. In no way are we worshipping the clay, if you try say that I can say you worship the keyboard your using to type on this thread due to the fact that your fingers are touching the keyboard to get the letters written .. sounds stupid no?

b.) you say all shias do taboot? 1) prove it and by this i mean show me every single shia doing taboot. 2) I am shia and I dont do taboot sorry but looks like what you said is false.

c) Like MDM said, why dont you provide proof?

d) Not all shia donate their money to horses, alam etc. I dont, and I dont know any shia who do.

My point : I think you are most likely an indian and have seen shia islam through indians who are following culture more than following islam, to be honest with you I have never even heard of point b point c or point d that you talked about, this just goes to prove that not all shias do it, because if they did I surely would have heard of it or seen it sometime in my life.

They are Muhammad s.a.w and his pure and pious progeny. Our claim is pure and we are not hypocrites and neither do we follow any one. Our some rituals might look to you strange and when someone has negative approach to something, always his mind conclude worst outcomes. To add some fuel to such conclusion, enemies of Islam play their part too. I will answerr your question but i know before putting forward these points, you must have searched the answers but you are not satisfied. Now you are calling yourself student and we should not disappoint you. Ok lets have a look on your asked questions.

This is actually very bad question. No offence but it shows that you are going to be one very tough student. Lot of learning is needed. Right path is not a peace of cake, you need to know it rightly. See, did you ever try to read about this "so called". Is this a way of student to ask questions!!!? You are a student and we are not teachers but we can only advise you to read it by yourself and then raise question regarding the answer. Plus this comparison is out of logic. We do make Taboot but we respect it and keep it in room to use it next time. We do not throw it in water. We make taboot and making taboot is sign liked by Allah and it is mentioned in Quran. (read about Taboot e sekina in Quran).

At one place you say that Allah/God does not have any body but at the same time you claim that you will see in heaven and factually he has face and hands.

To answer absurdities like these, there is a hadith "throw the stone back to where it came from". Or what Imam Khomenie used to say about the cancer of ME:

"You do not negotiate with the rabid dog, what you do is, find the nearest, biggest rock, and smash the head of the mad dog with it"... I just love this advice. I guess Lebanese took this advice to the heart :). So do the same with cancer's little tumors spread across Najd, India, and other lands.
