*** Ideas Needed For Naming Islamic School

Salaam Alaikom,

There is a new islamic school opening in southern California, and a huge challenge is finding a name that will be Islamic, Resonably easy for non muslims to pronounce, Arabic and English word, and contains something in relation to the ahlul bayt.

So for example the names they have come up with is the following:

Montathar Peace School

Aba Saleh Peace School

Lady Fatima Academy

Ale Mohammad School

They want a name perferrably with one of the names of the 14th infalliables, and something that has never bean used before. But since this school is open to Non Muslims, something in the name that is an English Word..

A lot of teens/young adults found it "lame" for the whole Peace inside a school. Like if u were to go to this school, what would u like it to be called? Something you feel proud of saying. Like hey, i go to bla bla bla school.. and say that bla bla bla with pride

Please give any ideas you have

Congrats on starting a school. What is the monthly fee? Are they affiliated with SABA? Is it homeschool or did theynget the state license for private school?

IKRA or IQRA ISLAMIC SCHOOL

IKRA OR IQRA (first word of quran which was revealed to prophet(s)) it means say(or learn)

Sounds nice but when you spell it with a "K" It kinda looks like IKEA but I like it with a "Q"

It is a private school from preschool to 6th grade. So Elementary school for now. Not affiliated with Saba, but because of the small amount of students, it is just like homeschooling, but in a facility that was a public school years ago.

I wish you many success in the administration and enrolling in the school, for the love of Muhammad -saaws- and his family -as-.

We are trying to open one twelver islamic private school for Primary/Secondary classes (where of course religion-oriented courses are optional, so that we are open to students from all sides and all religions). First thing is still the ground, hard to find something nice around paris...

It is an important issue as the issue of hijab in public schools in france is a big problem for us.
