Salaam everyone,

It's been a while .. I have terrible fears. Like when I'm alone, I feel like being constantly watched by someone or when I walk, It seems like someone is behind me.(Everywhere I am) I know it sounds silly, or maybe I'm paranoid :o. but it really scares me.. :(

Has anyone ever experienced this? Or what can I do? ..

Thanks, Senora. :)

I had the exact same problem once. A constant feeling of someone or something being behind me. However, I was about 10 years old. I naturally grew out of my fear.

I had the same problem before, everytime i went outside i was paranoid that someone was walking behind me, i always used 2 look behind me .. come to think of it i cant even remember when the problem went away

but as long as you know that Allah (swt) is watching over you then dont be afraid of anyone or anything, he will prevent something bad happening to you if it doesnt have a better outcome after it happening :)

I only feel terrified after I watch scary things :o AWFUL

just read the muethat (the 4 suras that start with قل) and Ayat Alkursy before u leave the house, and make sure u walk in a safe area.. like no short cuts when it's dark

It only happens when i am completely alone somewhere. I usually recite Ayat ul kursi, naad e ali. When i am in such a phase i usually wear Alam of Hazrat Abbas(a.s) pendant, it makes me feel very safe.

A non religious approach that helps is, if alone at home i switch on the TV or if outside listen to something...it distracts from the feeling of being watched. I think its just satan trying to put waswasa in us.
