AsSalam 3aleikum everyone,

I'm a female student who inshallah will start on City Universtiy in London, and need somewhere to live for a year. My questions are if you know of good websites for muslims to find flats/accommodations/halls etc. for rent, or to find muslim flatmates. Or you might know of female muslims who are interested in sharing flat?? Maybe know of someone reliable who's letting, or... Or any advice you'd like to share?? :)

Thanks in advance!

Have you checked City's official website?

http://www.city.ac.uk/study/why-study-at-city/accommodation

Lots of info on there.

Walekum salaam sister,

I would recommend you contacting the Ahlulbayt society : http://absoc.co.uk/ I believe that city's absoc website is currently down at the moment however you can find the facebook group and message the admin. He/She in return can fire off a mass email to all other female students who might be willing to house share.

http://culsu.co.uk/AhlulBayt

Failing that, you could contact the Isoc (islamic society) which you can again facebook coz there will be loaaads of people in a similar situation like yours.

http://www.culsu.co.uk/isoc/content/507173/islamic_society_home/

If that still doesnt workout then i suggest contact your uni directly. They usually compile a list of people with similar interest and pool them together for house sharing.

Hope that helps.

Good luck!

Thank you for the link, but yes I have already checked that page and the provided links there, but I would like to choose more carefully regarding my lifestyle and my religion.

Thank you very much for the links, they will surely help! I have been trying to find these pages, as I saw that there is an Ahl Ulbayt society in City Uni, but couldn't find a valid website for them. Anyway, I have now sent them an email, and if they can't help me, I'll try with Isoc, and also see if I can find any fellow students among the facebookers who have Liked the pages.
