Asslamoalaikum,

1. I heard that if some one offers his Qadha prayers instead of "Namaz e Shab" at night and then offer two Rak'at "Namaz e Shifa" and One Rakat "Witr" then his Namaz e Shab and Qadha Prayers both are offered. Is it true?

2. My second question is that to offer Namaz e Shab Is it necessary to sleep for sometime before offering? Sometimes i do not sleep till midd night or even after midnight then can i offer Namaz e Shab without sleeping and getting up or not?

I am Muqalid of Ayatullah Ali Sistani (Hz). Please provide me any reference in this regard from him specially or from any other scholar.

1. Yes its true; You can include both.

1. According to all of the Maraje'e, the Qadha of each prayer must be done only by it's own intention, so Night prayer in night prayer and lost prayer is it's own. they can not done instead of each other....because the First thing in saying praying is the intention...so imagine I've lost my fajr prayer...so now I wanna do the Qaza..what should my intention be ? "2 lost fajr prayer" or " night of layl" ?!

2. For night prayer there is no difference whether you sleep before it or not.

Althuigh it's better to say it whenever it's near the Fajr,

so you can say it at "Midnight"...it means you have time from about 11:30 till the Fajr prayer..

or even if you can't, you can say it before midnight...

wassalam

Jazak Allah brother for the reply. I have got the reply from Ayatullah Sistani (Hz) he has issued the fatwa that only Witr prayer is enough for Namaz e Shab and the rest of the time can be used for offering Qadha prayers.

^ So lost morning prayers can be included in shab prayers? but what about the niyaah ? is it alright to do niyaah of lost morning prayers and read first 4 two rakaths of namaz shab?

Sister, the niyah will be of Qadha prayers. That will not be the part of Namaz e Shab. I was just wondering about time for Namaz e Shab. As Qadha namaz are still there to be offered.
