When I'm in Taqiyya mode I wear them in this necklace hidden under my shirt... ;-)

Mash'Allah bro i particularly like the work on the band of the feroza. its beautifully made. how/ where did you get it? i wear rings round my neck too, but because i cant bear to be away from them lol.

These are my rings.:)

thanks for sharing :) i know that yaqoot is worn for wealth of the ring holder, are there any benefits that you know of for wearing pearls?

Here we are, my collection:

MASHALLAH now thats what im talking about! i cant tell you how good it makes me feel to see a stone that is set in a well made ring. i can recognise most, apart from the second from the left, is that black aqeeq? and the one on the far right, is that kahrowan? which do you wear every day?

awww man!! i wanna get a ring now :squeez:

@mdm u got chubby fingers :P

whats stopping you man?!?!

lol @ chubby fingers. ill tell you what i never noticed before - the tufts of hair on my fingers! wtf where did they come from?!?!

Pearls generate calmness and tranquility and are very soothing .It proves very effective for the people who are short-tempered.

Ruby on other hand brings out energy and life.

I liked the contrast and needed both so made this one.

Yup, the second from the left is black `aqeeq. The one on the far right is amber, I don't know what it's called in Arabic, but apparently we have ahadith on it. I just liked the ring so I bought it. Normally, I'll wear the third one with the huge stone and the one on the far right. If I want more bling then I'll go up to four rings and mix and match.

Ohh Masha'Allah those are pretty, I'd like a Fehroozah, but the stones they sell are so big. You mostly see the old ladies rockin' them. ^_^

Lol during zyarah, all I see are hands on the window filled with the stone rings.

Thanks, I got them back home in Lebanon, there's a really good "hidden" stones shop and the owner has an Iraqi employee called Ma'an... You pick and choose the raw stone among several hundreds as well as the type of band, then Ma'an works on it and also engraves whatever you like on the stone... It all takes a week or less, to finish and you go get it... Like on the Aqeeq, you barely see it but I had Allah a.j. and all the Ahlulbayt's s. names engraved... On the Firoza, it's barely seen even when you hold it, but I got "Allah Al-Malek", (To Allah a.j. belongs the dominion) engraved...

are men allowed to own pearls? its one of the gems i dont own. i like the arrangement of the ring, it looks kinda like a flower. i always heard that rubys = wealth, so Insha'Allah may your life be filled with contentment and satisfaction, as well as energy and enjoyment and wealth, ameen!

Ill try and show at least one every night inshallah - including this tasbih/ misbah that my dad owns made from some mystery gem, that when you rub it, it smells beautiful. ive never seen any gem like it before or since, and he has forgotten himself what the stone is, all he knows is it was a gift from najaf :(

ive got literally a carrier bag full of rings and loose stones, so i will only show the ones i find particularly interesting. i hope members keep contributing too tho!

mash'Allah....mash'Allah, i like that a lot.

that was what was engraved on our maula ali (as) ring, am i right? Allah hoo malek ul mulk?

Theres no ruling or restriction for men to wear or own pearl. The only restriction is gold for men. Rubies are recommended in fact. It was a stone Imam Ali(as) used to wear.

I always wanted a ring with pearl and rubies together ; when I got the chance gave the design myself to make it.

I liked your silver aqeeq ring..its got exquisite design mashallah.

Thanks for your duas. Ameen.

AWWW thnx 7bibty Srobaaa  OMG I HATE IT when my sis takes my thinks esp esp esp jewelry (or even accessories) coz twice she broke em.. she says they just collapsed into pieces, but I simply say she'll never borrow anything again! LOL

Iran is the best place to get the necklaces.. seriously they go SO SO MANY options ^_^

not really; but i dont think its femenine. its not like its a pearl necklace innit? i only wear one ring, the most powerful ones i keep round my neck. because pearl is so easy to fake though, i wouldnt buy a pearl ring from anywhere in the ME unless i was 100% confident in the seller. i would prefer to get the pearl from here with a stamp of authenticity and get it set in a silver ring from a paki jeweller, while i waited and stood over him to make sure he didnt switch.

Exactly.

you know bro, i heard a story that the aqeeq which beared the inscription allahu maalikul mulk, was actually the ring of hazrat sulayman (pbuh) himself, which was passed down to imam ali (as), and was the one that hazrat sulayman used to control the angels. this was the exact ring which our master (as) gave while in rukuh without even a moments thought.

will there ever be enough words to describe maula ali (as) fazeelat?

i like your ring mash'Allah, its easy for ring makers to ruin designs of rings by adding too many stones, they either make them too small as to be insignificant or too big to be practical to wear. i love the way the ring maker used a few, decent sized stones of the main gems to make the rings. its beautiful mash'Allah.

and get collecting!

Salaam Aleikum,

Here is my Aqeeq ring:

myaqiiq.jpg

mash'Allah...simple is always best when it comes to aqeeq. is there a story how you aquired it? i have heeard that aqeeq is the momins ring, that if you are a momin then an aqeeq will somehow or another find its way to you

this is one of the three rings i wear on a chain round my neck at all times:

IMAG1545.jpg

it is a simple square cut green aqeeq, ive never known anyone to own a green aqeeq apart from me, plus it was a gift from my mammu when he went to iran, he did massah of hazrat babul hawayej imam ar-redha (as) and sayyeda masuma e qum (sa). ive never been to ziarat there so until i inshallah do go, i keep these round my neck as the closest reminder of them

LOL i do that too :Hijabi: will you buy any more rings, or stay with these ones?

Well, I need to first of all the darker Yemeni `aqeeq resized because it's too big. Other than that, I want a ring with a large turquoise stone like the one you see in this pic: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Sayed_Mohammad_Hussein_Fadlallah.jpg

I'd also like a ring with durr al-najaf.

IMG_01542.jpg

Thats a green thing from karbala :D

IMG_01512.jpg

Thats me doing dua for you all with the standard reversed aqeeq :P this is from kazemia. They say aqeeq was thee first stone to do dhikr and supplication to Allah, and they say it always is doing dhikr for you :)

IMG_01532.jpg

And the don of all rings the dur e najaf. Imam Ali (as) has said to worn it in battle and it is thought to make you stronger :) i brought this from najaf :)

Very nice thread, I have 2:

dsc01707v.jpg

The red one says "Ya Jawad Al Qa'im". Was bought from Syria I think.

Has touched the shrines of - Syeda Zainab, Syeda Ruqayya, Imam Hussain, Hazrat Abbas, Imam Ali (and places in Kufa such as Imam's mimbar and mehrab), Imam Kadhim, Imam Hadi, Imam Jawad, Imam Askari (Peace be upon them all).

The silver one is from Najaf, Sayed Sistani gave us one each after we met him. It has touched Imam Ali (as)'s shrine and Syeda Zainab (as)'s shrine.

Here's 2 of my rings. I also have a hadeed chini one, but it isn't pictured. The multi-stone and hadeed chini ones I got from Karbala'; the sharaf al-shams (yellow ring) I got from a friend who brought it from Iran.

The multi-stone has ruby, emerald, turquoise, durr al-najaf, and aqeeq yamani.
