The Shooting Star: An Account Of The Concealment Of Imam Al-Mahdi (‘aj), The Twelfth Imam Of The Twelver Shi’a Muslims

This text gives an overview of the life of the hidden Twelfth Imam, Imam al-Mahdi ('aj), in the Twelver Shi’a traditions. It covers various aspects, such as the circumstances of his birth, his names and titles, distinctive qualities, and proofs of his Imamate from miracles. It also discusses incidents of individuals claiming to have met the Imam during the Major Occultation, reconciling these claims, and incidents of divine intervention attributed to the Imam. Additionally, it addresses the duties of believers towards the Imam of the Age and highlights times and occasions associated with him. Lastly, it presents rituals aimed at seeking the honour of seeing Imam al-Mahdi ('aj).
