as salaam alaikum: i googled for information on somali shia, and see that it is indeed a rare thing. we have a somalian sister here married to an immigrant iraqi brother (SHOCK!), who just found ahlul bayt, and i met another brother online here in the states who is somalian and shia. Oh, i know a sister who is back home in somaliland. she finally told her family and beyond just being disappointed, they don't really care.

anyway, another brother piped in about wishing there were more black shias on this site. i just wanted to tell him and others interested about the Internatinal African Shia Federation wherein he can meet many. It is not exclusive to 'just' black/african peoples, but the majority of the members are of african descent. it's kinda sad that, generally speaking, that shias are more race/color/tribe conscience than most. so many former black shias have left the Jafari Madhab to become Maliki because they just did not feel as accepted by too many of our other shias...Shaitan said he'd come on the straight path--and surely, he has.

anyway, here is the address to join the International African Shia Federation:

masalaama,

asiila

If a sunni adopts shia beliefs he has not converted. He has just modified his beliefs otherwise we are all converting every day as our beliefs

change slightly every day based on our knowledge and experiences. I used to accept Aahaad for law and belief but now reject them, even though most shia today, including marjas use aahaad for law and belief. have i converted?

I advice you to be

1. Sincere to Allah, which means to live/die/sleep/talk/walk etc for Allah, not for any hizb(group) or individuals. To WORSHIP him ALONE as he commanded you in numerous versus in the quran.

2. To follow the footsteps of the last prophet, Muhammad(sallahu Aleyhi Wasalam) in worshipping the Magnificient/ The Sublime / The Exalted, The king of the Kings, Allah( high above is he from any defissiontcy)

This is the SHAHADA, ASHADU AN LAA ILAAHA ILLAAH, ASH HADU ANNA MUHHAMMED RASUULULAAH.

If you contemplate on this, you will know Shiism is a group/sect established to distroy ISLAM. I ask that Allah keeps ys away from their evil plots and doubts.

That he makes us firm upon his path, and gathers us with the SAYID OF MURSALEEN, MUHAMMAD sallahu Aleyhi Wasalam and those that follow his path amen.

Seek knowledge in your deen brothers, and don't lend your ears to these imposters/ who halve of their deen is based on taqqiyah. May Allahs curse be upon the lairs and the people of shirk amen.

Ahlul Sunnah love foremost the prophets, ahlul bait, those the prophet was pleased with. And those righous who follow their path.

My final advice, to be sincere and seek KNOWLEDGE as you seek those pounds and dollars.

May Allah aid you upon istiqaamah
