Just a quick question, in the first episode Mukhtar doesn't want to go fight for his Imam of the time, Imam Hassan AS... Can someone explain this? I would think a great Shia historic figure such as Mukhtar would unquestioningly go support his Imam, such as when he avenged Hussein's death?

Every now and then I try to squeeze in an episode, when the time permits it. It's a very time consuming series, but nonetheless a very productive watch. I can say so far that after treating myself to very few episodes I have been able to appreciate and profoundly understand the essence of the tragedy of Karbala.
