Everyone who matters in the world is hezbollahi.

Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Norman Finkelstein... All of these people are AWESOME, and it's because they are hezbollahi.

But each hezbollahi has his/her own personal story as to how they became hezbollahi.

Some of these stories are interesting. Most of them are lame and taqiyya-heavy.

Either way, I want all hezbollahis to share their personal stories of how they became a hezbollahi in this very thread.

By posting, you are giving me the legal right to use this some day in a book entitled "Hezbollahis of Another Path."

So share your stories!

Baradar Jackson's story:

Jackson was from a family of EX-most hardcore hezbollahis who became deviated and secularized as he was growing up.

His family did not dispose of the hezbollahi books they had accumulated through years of being hezbollahi.

Jackson read aforementioned books when they were not around to see, and thought it was a good idea to become hezbollahi.

salam Alaikum

Nice topic...thanks

My story:

when I was a teenager, I used to recite Quran but I didn't love Hizbullahy people...so the Quran made me going to our local mosque and that was the start ...

so on talkif age, a wonderful Hizbullahi young man, who is gonna be a great scholar and He is an Imam, Helped me so much and I fall in his love and by that way I started loving our religion and saying my prayers on time.

so after 6 years, now I'm studying both in Howza and university and I'd become an Imam soon inshallah.;)

TCS (aka me), a 3rd generation iraqi resistance (currently exiled, soon to return insha'Allah).

History: 1st generation (ulema) lead 1920s resistance against the british cancer occupying our land,

2nd generation (ulema and others) facilitated, financed and advised Islamic Revolution Leader(s), and early resistance in Lebanon (Beqqa' valley).

Sole supporter of WF/HizbAllah, other's preferred the ''quiet non-political shi'a / collaboration with the enemy / we just want peace and quiet'' groups.

ASA - Bismillah

I became a Hezbollah supporter during the 2006 war. I had no prior knowledge of them pre 2006. I am a huge fan and I havent seen a more moral. ethical leader in the Shia world than Seyyid Hassan Nasrallah. May he crush zionism to dust and Inshallah the ultimate victory is his. Praise be to Allah for the Islamic Resistance.

Looks like somebody needs to share their story...

Talk about taking things out of context.

My Story:

I was young and impressionable. And I was swayed by my local center who are hardcore about WF and Hezbullaahi people. (When I say hardcore about WF I mean hardcore. If you are not a WF supporter, you do not speak at the center).

My Story:

A ShiaChat member from the golden era of SC, after observing my general leanings and mannerisms declared me an honorary Hizbullahi Jnoobiyyah from Bint Jbeil

B) Thats about it.

The golden era of SC seems like a distant memory now. I miss those days.

[For those who don't know, I am American and my husband is Iranian. We live in the US.]

Hameedeh's story: My husband was usooli from birth, and when he was mature he became enghelabi. He is the only person still alive in his family who is enghelabi, so he was desperately looking for an intelligent wife. Through coaxing I quickly became enghelabi, too. A Lebanese brother we knew had to go through US airport security every time he came back from visiting family in Lebanon. They would ask him if he was hezbollahi and he would deny it. One time this Lebanese brother was overseas and he "missed speaking with" my husband, so he picked up the phone and called us in the middle of the night. So my husband asked him, "Are you calling from Lebanon?" He said, "No, I'm calling from Bekka Valley." At that very moment, ipso facto we became hezbollahi, according to agents tapping our house phone. :) We did not have mobile phones at that time.

I was a hezbollahi once, buttoning up every button, long sleeves, pants only, no shorts, lifting my head in Hezbollahi pride, praising Hasan Nasrallah as a lion. I still dress like a Hezbollahi even if I don't like their leader.

''Every man is born a hezbullahi, but it is his parents that make him a Jew, Christian or polytheist''

- Inshaallah [ra]

This hadith is weak due to the unreliability of the narrator :squeez:. It has been, however, narrated through a stronger chain with slight change in the context:

''Every man is born a hezbullahi, but it is his parents that make him an Akhbari, Shaykhi or Malang"

- Imami_Ali [ra] @)

All your hadiths are weak, they have fabricating pathological liars in their chains. The correct SAHEEH version is:

"Every man is born a hezbullahi, but it is his parents that make him an Akhbari, Wahabi, or Polythiest"

STOP IT. STOP IT with this nonsensical Akhbari style debating.

Who cares which of these aHaaDeeth is truly authentic? They all have the same basic message: it is the fitrah of the human being to be hezboshhaytani. We are ALL hezboshhaytani.

Habib e Najjar has narrated from a number of our people of whom one is MAFHJ who narrated from thecontentedself who narrated from Hameedeh who narrated from Ibn Abdullah who narrated from velayat2011 who narrated from Trailblazer who narrated from Orion who narrated from MutaaKing who narrated from Max Isaac ((عليه السلام)) who has said the following:

"Whoever does not love this face, is not from us."

The hadith is maudoo`. Most of the raavis are known by their contemporaries to exaggerate truth. :P

Hassan Khomeini knows the Leader very well.

But I would never trade my position for his, because he is politically ignorant and has an incorrect ideology.

*shrugs* its just interesting how you judge who is "hezbollahi" based on nothing at all, but cant accept that a real hezbollahi is nothing as your imagination tells you they should be :)

I grew up in an environment where everything was hezbollahi. Growing up in pakistan, we had pictures of Aya. Khomenei in every room. My mother was a lecturer, my dad met Aya. Khomenei after revolution, my uncles dont leave house without their scarf, my aunts have studied in Qom with the same ideology. My friends are hezbullahi, my everyday interactions is with people who stand for revolution, so for me i have always been like this.

Salaam Brothers and sisters.

I'm a little confused, would someone be able to explain to me what a "hezbollahi" is? I've never heard of any of this before but now really interested to know what it is haha :P

Wasalaam :)
