Salams All,

I have true a complete belief that as Islam is a way of life there must be much written about what the Holy Prophet and his Holy Family used to use to treat ailments and illnesses. Islamic medicine, so to speak.

For example, I know that 'Kalonji (Black Seed)' is something that the prophet used to use regularly. Honey is also mentioned somewhere as being an incredible cure.

Does anyone know any sources on Islamic medicines like this?

Ideally, with narrations from the Ahlul Bayt, but I wouldn't discount hadiths from Sunni books (or should i!?)

Thanks All

Obivously, sources from the Quran are particularly welcome..

Forgot to add that part :o)
