+1 ^^^^ Less sun exposure = Less wrinkles

Blissful what brand of cleanser, toner and moisturiser do you use. Do you find them effective?

I use Neutrogena cleanser and moisturiser, and Biore toner. They are effective and after all the experimenting, those 2 are by far the best brands.

I found that using foam cleansers dries out the skin alot, so stick to cream cleansers if your skin is sensitive/combination.

Im thinking of switching to Clinique, I've used some of their products before and they're very very good. I'll let you know ^_^

Wow okay

I like the sound of the almond one, very very good for your skin! I've made a scrub out of oatmeal and honey before once. Doing it once a month or every fortnight works wonders. Also (not that I've tried it), cornflour and mushed up potato can be used as a skin tightener and brightener :donno:

Thank you blissful :)

Farwa I love your natural alternatives. I have tried the yogurt mask a few times, it leaves your face feeling refreshed. Like blissful I too want to try the almond oil around the eyes. I wonder if it reduces dark circles and puffy eyes.

Yeah the almond oil at night is for reduction of dark circles...not sure about the puffy eyes. You should use rose water for puffy eyes maybe.

Oh and i forgot the alovera. I also use fresh alovera stems to squeeze out the gel and put it on the face before sleeping. Its really nice.

I slap/pat my cheeks to get a blush !

Ask someone to punch my eyes for the natural blue purply shades.....

Tatoo my eyebrows

tatoo lipliner

Lol...I defi need to try these...w00t.gif...seem like great cheap alternatives!

Mainly I moisturize a million times a day- after doing wudhu or showering...my skin gets really dry so have to keep moisturising..even do it at fajr time lol

Also when I go for a shower I usually use simple face wash..its pretty good..then I don't use cleanser cos I can't be bothered :shifty:

I mostly only use cleanser when I've put makeup for an occasion..but I somtimes randomly cleanse when I feel like I'm somewhere really dusty..like when I go for ziyarat or to Africa lol..

Also I have never ever used a face mask before or had a facial  not to keen on the idea either...

Salam ^_^

This is what i do;

- I drink at least one bottle of water a day ;)

- Before having a shower i always put honey on my face (for at least 20mins) and then wash it with warm water. It makes your skin nice and soft :D

- Every fortnight i steam my face and then mix honey and sugar together and use it as a scrub. I then wash my face with warm water. -This is from a sister who wrote on a similar thread to this.

- Use rose water every morning...well when i remember!

- Sometimes i put olive oil on my face. Sounds horrible but it actually makes your face glowy and it makes it smooth and soft

Ok everyone laughs at me for my skin care "routine" Lol...its not much of a routine really - but I wear sun cream every day of the year, even when its thunderstorming! So I smell like I should be on the beach, but it does wonders for my skin. The higher the factor, generally the better.

Wearing suncream is often one of the best things to do. Loads of moisture & protects the skin from the sun AND the harsh effects of the cold. I don't wear it though because I find it very heavy on my skin.

I usually use Clinique 3-step, but for now I'm using the clinique facial soap to wash my face and cream called Contrakel for my acne scaring as it actually works. I try to drink lots of water and eat healthy as unhealthy food can give you bad skin. I use Formula 10.0.6 facial masks as they are very good and cheap. I sometimes use lemon juice if I have gotten too many breakouts as the juice calms and dries out the break outs. At least try to get fresh air for an hour everyday because the skin needs to exhale.

^ Yep, I always do that! It works wonders for tired eyelids.

I've discovered the best toner....T.N Dickinsons Witch Hazel. An oldie but a goodie. It doesn't dry your skin out like other toners and witch hazel has some awesome benefits.

Hey sisters, everyones skin type is different. Not one skin is the same! So what could work for someone, could actually make someone elses skin worse! you should really visit a beauty salon and get a diagnosis of your skin, and see what you need to work on!

Nothing you put on your hair will make your hair grow faster, your hair grows from its matrix inside of your head, in its follicle, so the best thing you can do is get regular head massages for blood supply, as blood carries essential nutrients for your hair :) dont waste your time on garbage!

I use cucumber mask and strawberry with chocolate mask.

As well washing face with water using moisturizers.

Using oatmeal in the bath is good too!

Best thing is not to over do it so if skin losses it's naturAl oils.

I only wear make up once or twice a month for my hubby= less wrinkles with less use of make up :)

I don´t really use any Cream or Oil on my Face. But I use Moisturizing Cream on my Hands cause at my Age and with working fulltime my Hands are quite dry and look even older.
