Animals Go To Heaven?

Rate this topic

We dont really know what an animal is.

We dont know whether is conscious, in the sense we are, or not. Descartes believed that animals were just mechanical.

None of these, as far as I am aware, have been explained in Islam, so it would be haste to decide whether they go to paradise or not.

anyone who has ever had a pet knows that animals are more than 'just mechanical.' Obviously they do not have the same sort of reasoning capabilities as the humans do but they do have unique mannerisms that set them apart from other individuals within the same breed who more or less look identical. An animal may seem insignificant, but how insignificant are the humans compared to Allah?

Animals have no power of reason. They can do no good or evil. So why would there be any reward or punishment for them?

An animal may seem insignificant, but how insignificant are the humans compared to Allah?

Heaven from all creatures hides the book of Fate,

All but the page prescribed, their present state:

From brutes what men, from men what spirits know;

Or who could suffer being here below?

The lamb thy riot dooms to bleed today,

Had he thy reason, would he skip and play?

Pleased to the last, he crops the flowery food

And licks the hand just raised to shed his blood.

Oh blindness to the future! kindly given,

That each may fill the circle mapped by Heaven:

Who sees with equal eye, as God of all,

A hero perish, or a sparrow fall,

Atoms or systems into ruin hurl'd,

And now a bubble burst, and now a world.

Hope humbly then; with trembling pinions soar;

Wait the great teacher, Death; and God adore.

What future bliss, He gives not thee to know,

But gives that hope to be thy blessing now.

Hope springs eternal in the human breast:

Man never is, but always To be blest.

The soul, uneasy, and confined from home,

Rests and expatiates in a life to come.

I have two lovely cats which they have lived with us many years (4-14 years). And i have observed that they do have emotional and caring attributes. So Descartes actually is wrong in this issue.

But i really need hadiths or Quranic verse about this issue.

Animals have no power of reason. They can do no good or evil. So why would there be any reward or punishment for them?

This is a interesting Verse:

"There will be for them Therein all that they wish -- And more besides In Our Presence. (The Noble Quran, 50:35)"

I wish my cats live with me :)

Yes,

All-Dogs-Go-to-Heaven-1989-Hollywood-Movie-Watch-Online.jpg

The scene in hell used to scare me.

This Quran verse seems to suggest animals will be judged:

There is not an animal (that lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms part of) communities like you. Nothing have we omitted from the Book, and they (all) shall be gathered to their Lord in the end. -6:38

Muhammad (pbuh) and Solomon (pbuh) were said to be able to speak to animals and understand them just as we understand each other.

All the beasts on land and flying birds have different communities just as you (men) have. We have not neglected anything in the book. They will be brought into the presence of their Lord. (Surah al-An'am, 6:39)

From this, they too are accountable for their actions, just like us humans are.
