Is the hadith saying that we, the kurds, are part of jinn, so that nobody should marry us, a sahih one ? If so, i have no other option than leaving this faith... it is really childish and racist...

The narrations I've seen on this all go back to a single individual, Abu 'r-Rabi` Khalid b. Awfa ash-Shami, for whom (if we are to apply the strictest criteria) there is no clear tawthiq. Thus, if so this would make him unknown (majhool) and therefore the chains of these narrations weak (da`if). So no need to worry about this and think you might leave your faith over it.

That said, you might not be aware of this but apparently the Kurds themselves have a origin legend that states they are in fact descended from jinn from the time of Sulayman (as). Click on this excerpt:

And to clarify, the only legend that kurds recognize is in direct connexion with the persian legend of azi dahaka. Actually, according to kurds, there were many children who had been saved from azi dahaka, and they left to hide in the mountains, so the survivors formed the kurdish people...

There is no such thing about kurds and jinns, it's just false allegation which started with al masudi..... actually, there is a small sect called "yezidis", but they just speak kurdish but they are not kurd.... and even this people is just deceived with false belief...

You shouldn’t be thinking about leaving Islam because someone insulted you. A lot of people including us (Shias) face insult and derogatory statements all the time. I am a strong believer of answering all the false accusations academically.

Also, I’ve seen some Iraqi Sunnis insulting kurds. I was told that their disagreement was political in nature (Saddam (LA) slaughtered many kurds). I’ve heard some people using derogatory words like all Kurds secretly follow Yazidism.

This accusation is not unique to Kurds. In fact, they are people who believe that one of the sons of Adam (as) married a female Jinn. As far as I know, these are only theories, and we do not exactly know if they are true or not. See here

I don't know who Rasheed Yasami was, but perhaps he meant of Iranic origin, to make Kurds of Iran, feel closer to their Persian neighbors, since many back then wanted to separate and create a Kurdistan state. Today, after some major wars, it left them divided into two camps. Typically atheist Kurds that rely on Kurdish nationalism and want a state based on that, and another that believe in unity with the country they are from (Iran, Turkey, Syria, and Iraq) because they are Muslims.

قال الطوسي « وينبغي أن يتجنب مخالطة السفلة من الناس والأدنين منهم، ولا يعامل إلا من نشأ في خير، ويجتنب معاملة ذوي العاهات والمحارفين. ولا ينبغي أن يخالط أحدا من الأكراد، ويتجنب مبايعتهم ومشاراتهم ومناكحتهم» (النهاية- الشيخ الطوسي ص 373).

قال ابن إدريس الحلي « ولا ينبغي أن يخالط أحدا من الأكراد ، ويتجنب مبايعتهم ، ومشاراتهم ، ومناكحتهم. قال محمد بن إدريس: وذلك راجع إلى كراهية معاملة من لا بصيرة له، فيما يشتريه، ولا فيما يبيعه، لأن الغالب على هذا الجيل، والقبيل، قلة البصيرة، لتركهم مخالطة الناس، وأصحاب البصائر» (السرائر - ابن إدريس الحلي ج 2 ص 233).

وقال يحيى بن سعيد الحلي « ويكره مخالطة الاكراد ببيع وشراء ونكاح» (الجامع للشرايع ص245).

وقال الحلي « مسألة : يكره له معاملة الاكراد ومخالطتهم ويتجنب مبايعتهم ومشاركتهم ومناكحتهم لما رواه الشيخ عن ابي الربيع الشامي قال سالت ابا عبد الله عليه السلام قلت ان عندنا قوما من الاكراد وانهم لا يزالون يجتنبون مخالطتهم ومبايعتهم فقال عليه السلام يا ابا ربيع لا تخالطوهم فان الاكراد حي من احياء الجن كشف الله عنهم الغطاء فلا تخالطوهم وكذلك يكره معاملة اهل الذمة» (منتهى المطلب الحلي ج2ص 1003 تذكرة الفقهاء للحلي ج 1 ص 586 جواهر الكلام - الشيخ الجواهري ج 22 ص 457 علل الشرائع - الشيخ الصدوق ج 2 ص 527 :

No, i am not aware of any. However Allah (swt) has said that he has made man the best of his creations e.g (95:4) and all other creations are not as great as human beings, that includes jinns. Thats why shaytaan had to bow down to Prophet Adam (a.s). So, Allah (swt) wouldnt make one race of humans with two different creations, jinns are made from fire and man is made of clay, so i dont think a combination like that would work and genetically you would be completely different to other human beings. So i suggest that you dont listen to people who say these things.

I think we have a hadith that says that ppl from Sindh are brainless or something like that.

But basically, its not a reason to leave the religion man, as you could say that a lot of ppl on SC are from 'sindh' (india) so w/e the case. its not really an issue.

The Quran does indicate that there are human jinns. I’m not saying the Kurds are jinn. Sir Syed Ahmad Khan likewise believed that jinns are wild tribes. The Kurds used to be largely nomadic people.

I have no idea brother. I was merely commenting on the fact that you posted a translation 9 years later. Personally, I found all of those ahadith fabrications when I read them because Racism is a grave sin in Islam and this seems like some kind of racism. This seems to be some sort of Myth or legend.

Wikipedia says this: There are multiple legends that detail the origins of the Kurds. One details the Kurds as being the descendants of King Solomon’s angelic servants (Djinn). These were sent to Europe to bring him five-hundred beautiful maidens, for the king's harem. However, when these had done so and returned to Israel the king had already died. As such, the Djinn settled in the mountains, married the women themselves, and their offspring came to be known as the Kurds

The word disabled is probably not in reference go physical disability, but simply spiritual retardation or sickness of the heart.

Scholars obviously avoid this topic because they don't want to cause fitna between ins and jinn, as well as push away the Kurdish people from Islam and Ahl Bayt. At the same time scholars might not be able to understand or explain it. They might also not know if this is legitimate.

by the way, this text is copy pasted with an introduction by a user on some forum probably who is basically saying "let us not forget what heroes the Kurds have been in Islam and what great Mujahedeen".

The first example he gives is how the "hero" Salah el Deen (a Kurd who betrayed his Fatimid Ismaili Shia masters and backstabbed them) brought down the false rafidi nation, and then his victory of Allah OVER the Crusades.

First of all, in Egypt the golden age of Islam in terms of anything was the Fatimid dynasty. If you look at architecture, there is no competition, including the founding of the capital al Qahira/ Cairo. But forget about architecture, public services like hospitals, just look at education. The first universities on EARTH are Fatimid, and the university that they created in Cairo was closed and became until today the main seat of Sunni intellectual scholarship. What does that tell you? What did Salah el Deen bring to Islam? The Fatimids definitely brought a lot, and their education system is just one of these things. There you go on proofs for that.

What concerns Mr. Salah el Deen al Kurdi's shady war with the Crusaders, there is ample evidence that he actually was a crusader himself. How can it be that the that he had a victory over them, when he actually joined them? They became best of friends, and then they created an order called the Order of Saladin, which is still active today i believe:

Supported by active guidance and consultation from authorities of Islam, the Templar Order has recovered and restored many essential traditions of the Sultan Saladin, Arabian Chivalry and related elements of Sufi heritage.

Ironically, as the legitimate historical institution of the original Knights Templar from 1118 AD, vested with its own inherent and independent Fons Honourum authority since 2013 AD, the Order uniquely possesses the relevant “heraldic jurisdiction” to “recognize” the authenticity and legitimacy of its own historical “enemy” from the 12th century (also as the direct legal counter-party to its own peace treaty since 1192 AD) [25] [26].

Accordingly, the Order exercised its legal capacity as a sovereign Principality under customary international law, to grant a Charter of “recognition” and Sovereign Patronage to the authentic “Knights of the Order of Saladin”.

The Order of Saladin was reestablished as an autonomous organization parallel to the Order of the Temple of Solomon, such that the Templars provide a center of operations and supporting infrastructure to the Saracen partner Order. In this way, the Templar Order presents a gift of reconciliation and appreciation to the Muslim world, embodied in the restored chivalric Order of Saladin backed by Templar Patronage.

Just as the Muslims gave a gift of ancient heritage of the origins of Christianity to the founding Knights Templar, the modern Templar Order now reciprocates by giving back key elements of the heritage of ancient Arabian Chivalry and sacred knowledge to the Muslim world.

All Muslims who exemplify and are dedicated to the Code of Chivalry of 1066 AD, following the example of Saladin, who see themselves as connected with the Knights Templar by shared spiritual values and common core beliefs, are admitted to the Knights of the Order of Saladin. Membership is granted by “sovereign recognition” from the Templar Order, recognizing that each person genuinely represents and thereby belongs to the authentic tradition of Saladin.

All members of the Order of Saladin are thereby automatically considered to be in full membership and active participation within the Order of the Temple of Solomon. In this way, the Order of Saladin effectively serves as the “Muslim side” of the Templar Order.

This arrangement allows Muslim members to preserve their distinct cultural identity in accordance with the customs of Islam, while giving full and equal access to membership benefits and all forms of participation in the Order. Muslim members thus actively engage with Templars within the Order of the Temple of Solomon, not by compromising to adopt Christian culture, but rather by faithfully representing their own religion, and by preserving and embodying the Arabian Chivalry of Saladin.

 

What kind of a defeat OVER the Templers is that? At most they can call this a peace treaty, but in reality he joined them!

Some people might interpret these two words as low-life and maybe 'scum', but it's got nothing to do with physical or mental disability as far as I know. You can check in dictionaries or the likes.

I don't really see how this is relevant. Pashtun aren't kurds. I've seen the occasional blonde/red haired blue eyed individual amongst their populace as well. Both women and men. Some of my friends are Pashtun and look caucasian in features whilst a lot of them are the black haired with brown eyes as well.

You can find plenty of info on that in this YouTube channel, that would add to the list of Jinn-related tribes, the Berbers, Gaelics, Druze, and basically all the ruling families of the world. There seems to be some archeological evidence for this
