Since a few days ago I have seen the text below, I have been thinking that what really can happen so a person reaches this level of iman (faith). To be exact, why aren't weak individuals like me the same as individuals like this martyr?

These are things people like me should ponder upon.

Translation: "O my master! I don’t wish paradise, its blessings, its trees and its eternity. I aspire to something greater. My paradise, o my master, is being with Aba Abdillah Al-Husain."

These things are there to make us stronger. So stay strong, my aziz brother.

Try to read more Quran (فَاقْرَؤُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ) and duas. Accustom yourself to Sahifeh Sajadi’yeh and its supplications. Go masjid and Ahlulbayt majalis and spend more time staying there. Listen to refreshing and reviving religious lectures. These things are shafa for minds and hearts.

Also, pains, sufferings and ordeals have messages. We should try to find their messages.

These poor people, forgotten and forsaken by the ummah:

Translation of the first paragraph: "The world’s entertainments have made the nafs (self) numb. It does not feel pains. This numbness and insensibility will be finished by disconnection from the alagheh/olgheh and attachment to world, i.e. death. That’s when pain will severely assault, and more importantly, man will understand he is a human, but he has become an animal!"

So, now that you feel the pain, it indicates that you have sensibility. this is a blessing. However, these pains are not there for pain, nor are they for annoying us. They have lessons and messages.

Sometimes we want something to happen, but it doesn’t. Sometimes we don’t something to happen, but it does. Sometimes we want something, but we can’t reach it. Sometimes when we reach what we wanted, we will notice that wasn’t really what we wanted...and so on and so forth. All these events are saying that this world has Elah, and there is nothing in the world more important than Him. Actually there is nothing but him. Don't seek anything. Don't aspire to anything. Don't like anything. Just seek me. I am organizing all these events, not for annoying you, but to let you know that you are created for something else, you fetratan and naturally want something else. I just want to inform you through these events.

I feel that my beloved brothers and sisters deserve an update.

Alhamdulilah I'm on the way back up . A lot of people will misunderstand these issues - I feel that my faith in God and his religion has increased and in every difficulty you do indeed gain a different perspective, seeing beauty and happiness where you never saw it before.

Or quit working yourself into a frenzy. The Messenger-saws of Allah-swt was taught slowly, so why would it be 'faster' for you?

I guess the same a lunch, coffee, toilet, and smoke breaks. As long as employees use it reasonably, they have it as much as they need. If they abuse it the employer will have to enforce limits.

How do we describe a person who feels heartbroken when he sees racism, dies on the inside when he sees Shias treat other people like dirt and his anxiety leaves him almost incapacitated when he sees Muslims shaking hands with leaders of global corruption? 

If it's a manic depressive then that's me. I can perhaps handle being beaten up for being a Muslim, being sworn at and losing my job. I can deal with being relentlessly bullied and it being clear that you aren't one of "us" because of my name and the colour of my skin. 

I can't handle it when people - Shia Muslims specifically - act exactly as Yazid and Shimr and do Satan's dirty work for him.

Edit: the problem is I just keep getting triggered even by seemingly unrelated things and it pushes me right back into serious difficulties up there all over again - I start behaving a bit strangely with the crazy leg shakes, randomly starting to recite lines of poems, massive headache. Then the sleepiness and a drain of energy.

If you are in your 20s, physical reactions like that signals getting your blood sugar checked. Start a twice daily routine of documenting the readings. Keep records correlated with meals and snacks and all. Then see your physician. Ask starlight for her over-the-net thoughts.

"unrelated things" -not likely. People have always described me as insensitive, lacking empathy and like-manner of things. Yet, there are a couple of things that do anger me more than others --usually because l see certain things go way bad as you describe of yourself-- or remembering negative situations l've  been around.

I am surprised to see that she looks sad. Eight years ago, she was humiliated so much but she always looked like she was enjoying all the attention. I wonder why did she become sad? Is she sad because she had to sell herself or she is just tired after raising 8 kids? If she was in my community, she would be hailed as a hero and an example for all the women. I can just imagine their reaction:  "We will not talk about what you had to do to pay for all the expenses. That's between you and Allah. But we need to talk about your greatness, sacrifice, kindness. You were not focused on your career, you wanted to become a mother. And you raised 14 kids all by yourself. While these other women are not willing to raise even one kid. They are not willing to marry unemployed men. There was a prostitute and she was forgiven by Allah because she gave water to one cat. You raised 14 kids, don't worry about how you paid for them. If you tell these other women to have kids, all men will pray for you and Allah will forgive your sins".
