A good example of the type of nonsense that has started infecting academia:

No bro! You're entirely wrong.

-There's nothing objective about science and sampling is a frame of mind. Autoethnography is perfectly valid and all guys are pigs.

-Sex, (never mind gender) is a social contruct.

-All (heterosexual) men have been brainwashed and only non-binary sexually-ambiguous intersectional gucci-swinging feminists understand the world clearly.

Give me a safe space so I can get away from everyone who disagrees with me.

You wish, if it bothers you so,why not move to Saudi Arabia? I'm sure it's a great success without them pesky women voters.

How about the converse? Bring KSA or IRI here?

In the honoring of our beloved 4th Imam Zayn ul Abideen(as) shahadat, please take some time to learn a bit about his life, one of his hadith that I especially like is: "The most lovable ways for Allah are two : Repelling rage with clemency and misfortune with forbearance."

Here is a short video of his biography:

Salawat please!

young people in WWII - stormed beaches, fought nazis
young people now - need a "safe space" because words hurt

I love this anecdote i heard online about how there was this meeting in a college in uni for these types of women only, you know the SJW "did you just assume my gender" types. it was strictly for females only. this giant bearded american football player tried to go in, and got stopped by the front desk, when they asked him what he thought he was doing, he said "I identify as a woman, did you just assume my gender????"

just about sums up their whole movement I think :)

Is there a way to kill one's conscience? I don't want mine anymore.

Never wish for that. Never.

I'm sorry you have to suffer whatever brought on this thought, but to have dulling of conscience is worse than physical torture. Better to suffer with a pure soul than to be spiritually dead or dying.

Salam Alaikum, first time commenting here.

What's your guys favourite feelings?

My favourite feeling is shutting down two Islam haters at once. It's funny because they keep using the same argument over and over again.

Hopefully they wont keep me up the whole night.

The short version is: he's a tool

Well, as Imam Ali (as) says look at what he says rather than who he is. I have watched some of his and Abodul Ali Bazargan's clips, some of the things they bring up causes us to look at things from different angles. They are some what similar to Dr. Ali Shariati in the sense that they try to bring a reform in the shia community itself.

Favorite Feeling: Probably like my grandfather. lf l ain't mad about something once a day, l ain't had a good day.

Now being the "social being" that l am [ :hahaha: ]  and that l do not want to be unsociable like, l follow politics.

This way l can scream and curse without offending anyone else in the house, neighborhood, ...

Saudi groom divorces wife two hours after wedding for using Snapchat
A groom in Saudi Arabia filed for divorce a mere two hours after the wedding ceremony because the bride broke an agreement not to share pictures of the ceremony on Snapchat.

Upon finding out that pictures of the wedding had been shared on the social media platform, the groom immediately filed for divorce. The agreement not to share pictures or video of the ceremony was said to be a binding one

“There was a prenuptial agreement between my sister and her fiancé that she would not use social media applications such as Snapchat, Instagram or Twitter to post or send her pictures,” the bride’s brother said.

The groom’s decision resulted in a row between both families, with the bride’s family arguing that the the agreement was unfair, and the groom’s relatives arguing that he had been perfectly within his rights to file for divorce

Earlier this year, a Saudi husband divorced his wife hours after their wedding because she was too busy texting her friends to consummate the marriage. When he tried to get intimate with her, he was reportedly pushed away because she was responding to congratulatory messages from friends.

@Marbles A few years ago, an Omani groom divorced his wife on the same night after seeing her "real" face and skin colour without makeup. Apparently he was furious that he was lied to because she is darker than what she actually made herself out to be and not so beautiful without makeup.

Utterly shameful, the groom sounds like a spoiled rich kid who lived his entire life on his rich oil baron dad's money all his life. Are people in the East really this naive and small minded?

That's a shame. This may stir potentially incendiary debate about heavy makeup and lack of sufficient interaction between young people prior to the marriage.

There's something about pictures being the "true likeness" of the individual. When we were accepting proposals for my sisters, I told them to use introductory pictures closest to how they normally look. We know that makeup can do magic, esp Arab-style makeup, and some people are more photogenic than others.

I sympathise with the groom here. its not fair on the guy if he is expecting beyonce based on his interactions with her, and on the wedding night finds out she is quasimodo.

thats why on my first date with my potential wife, we are going swimming.

It does seem reasonable that a guy would get upset if his wife is chatting with her friends and ignoring him on their wedding night. Divorce is a bit extreme, but I can understand him being upset.

As for the wife who posted pictures, she never should have agreed to that. If she agreed to it, she should have kept the agreement. Again, divorce is extreme though.

As for the wife with the makeup, that just goes to show you men ought to look for hijabi wives, without all that deceptive adornment. The man was an idiot.

I honestly think using snapchat is a legitimate grounds for divorce.

Mostly because I don't know what snapchat is but I hear people talking about it. And that makes me scared and angry.

It's like MSN or Yahoo messenger when you were young. It's how kids are talking to strangers nowadays.

Sorry to disappoint you. But makeup is like technology, it's so advanced now than it ever was. We now have: waterproof mascara, fake lashes that are glued to your actual lashes, lip liner which needs more than water to remove, tattooed brows, liner and contour... and the list goes on!

Snapchat is just another pathetic outlet for insecure people to prove to the world what an "awesome"  life they live.
