Muhammad ibn Ya’qub al-Kulayni ® from ‘Ali ibn Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Mahbub, from Abu ‘Abd Allah (A) that he (A) said: “Verily, it is mentioned in the Book of ‘Ali that of all mankind the prophets undergo the severest of trials, and after them the awsiya’, and after them the elect to the extent of their nobility. Indeed, the believer undergoes trial in proportion to his good deeds. So one whose faith is sound and whose deeds are good, his trials are also more severe. That is indeed because God Almighty did not make this world a place for rewarding the believer and punishing the unbeliever. And one whose faith is feeble and whose (good) deeds are few faces fewer tribulations. Verily, tribulations hasten towards the believer with greater speed than rainwater towards the earth’s depths.”1

Thoughts:   14th November 2015. Happy birthday dad! If you were still here you'd have turned 62 today, about the age people take retirement.   These 23 years have passed real quick.

Thoughts: Why am I such a slow reader? This really bothers me. Especially when I'm required to work through large articles for classes.

Anyone else find they have a similar problem? Does anyone have any tips?

Perhaps I should read this: how to read a book

Why would any sane person go to Qatar?

The assumption here is that I am sane ;)

Our university sends its Arabic students to Qatar for the summer abroad program.

Now i know why a lot of biologists(or people within that line of work) are atheists. I would lose faith in God too having to do that...............

No you wouldn't, as a Muslim your faith will become stronger.

Seriously, I don't know how atheists can study without repeating God's name every hour.

When I got stuck on something or fail at solving a case I take a break and pray (subhanek subhanek subhanek, لا علم لنا الا ما علمتنا plz God help me) and suddenly out of nowhere I remember the answer.

All thanks to the merciful God, who puts "elham" in my empty brain.

I wonder when atheists can't solve a question what do they do? Do they call someone? Who is more powerful than Allah. No one!

Please check those sites they might be helpful. There's a community on tumblr called (studyblr). We share tips and help each other with our studies.

Yes i would, because as i said "most biologists". Muslims do not represent the majority of biologists. Learn to read!

Atheists scientists usually turn to the conclusion: "we dont know" when they cant answer a problem, instead of believing in god.

And my point/joke apparently went flying above your head, typical biologists!

Well, excuse me my English is so bad I still don't get your jokes and will never do.

I would lose faith in God too having to do that......

By that sentence above I thought you meant if you become a biologists you'll lose faith in God.

Pardon my mistake.... and plz next time don't call me a biologist (I'm not)

That was the joke part.....

Let me spoonfeed you. Usually biologist/ or any field within biology such as medicine, biochemistry, microbiology etc, have to study like that, hence lose faith in god. Has nothing to do with biology itself. Can't believe i have to explain this...Like the guy below

The irony.

The slowness....

;) yes usually shooting yourself in the foot causes nerve damage. Turn on the lights next time you pull the trigger. Don't worry, it will heal.

Messing with you isn't shooting myself in the foot, bro, YOU should be terrified. Get in the ring with me!

^ Then why did yall adopt the Yazdi system of using human fertilizer on your crops?

(FYI Nobody in Yazd or outside of Yazd has ever referred to the weather as "pitch perfect.")

The world has turned upside down. People act like desert wastelands are paradisical gardens.
