French Instagram page of Imam Kahmenei blocked

Quote

On Friday, Instagram Social Network blocked the official account of Website of Office for Preservation and Publication of Works of Leader of the Islamic Revolution in French.

Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has issued a letter on Wed. to the young people in France, calling on them to question the double standards of their president over freedom of expression.

Following recent flagrant insults to the Holy Prophet of Islam in France, the strong support of the French President Emmanuel Macron and the Cabinet of that country for these malicious actions under the guise of "freedom of expression," and also the role played by that government in spreading Islamophobia, Ayatollah Khamenei has raised important questions in a message to the French youth.

In another part of the letter, the Leader asked, "Why is it a crime to raise doubts about the Holocaust? Why should anyone who writes about such doubts be imprisoned while insulting the Prophet ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) is allowed?"

Now, the new French page of the Leader of the Revolution on Instagram has initiated its work at the following address: instagram.com/fr.Khamenei.ir as a replacement page for the blocked page.

Islamophobia in Austria;

After hijab ban Austria’s new law on 'political Islam' opens door for crackdown on Muslims

Quote

Austria’s right-wing Chancellor Sebastian Kurz has announced a raft of new measures which would make “political Islam” a criminal offence.

Kurz used Twitter to announce the new policy stating “In the fight against political Islam, we will create a criminal offense called ‘political Islam’ in order to be able to take action against those who are not terrorists themselves, but who create the breeding ground for such.”

The announcement caught many by surprise. The draconian measures do not define “political Islam” nor do they lay out the extent that daily Muslim practices and needs could be now criminalised as a result of this new law.

Kurz went on to add, “There will be further possibilities for the closure of the places of worship, the introduction of an imams register, the symbol and association law will be tightened and measures will be taken to drain financial flows for terrorist financing.”

In the past, Austria has shut down several mosques which it deemed to be political. The move at the the time was condemned as a “reflection of the Islamophobic, racist and discriminatory wave” in the country.

Farid Hafez, an Austrian political scientist at the Department of Political Science and Sociology at the University of Salzburg, speaking to TRT World, condemned the latest actions taken by the Kurz government.

“This is the latest step by the government to crush Muslim civil society and send a message out that no one is safe,” said Hafez.

“Making ‘political islam’ a criminal offense would open the doors for every future crackdown,” imperiling all future Muslim activism added Hafez.

Turkey condemns Pompeo: Focus on racism, Islamophobia in US before preaching on religious freedoms

Quote

The U.S State Department said in a statement Tuesday that Pompeo would travel to Istanbul to meet with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I, the spiritual leader of the world’s Greek Orthodox Christians.

“It would be more advisable for the United States to look in the mirror first and to show the necessary sensitivity to human rights violations such as racism, Islamophobia and hate crimes in its own country,” the Turkish ministry said in a statement.

“Our reaction on this matter was conveyed to the U.S. side, and it was suggested that (Washington) focus on increasing cooperation between our countries on regional and global issues,” the Foreign Ministry said.

The top U.S. diplomat plans to discuss religious issues in Turkey and to promote “our strong stance on religious freedom around the world,” the statement read.

Turkey’s Foreign Ministry rebuked the statement “as extremely inappropriate,” insisting that the country protects the rights of citizens of various faiths to freely practice their religions.

In July, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan converted Istanbul’s landmark Haghia Sophia into a mosque. The site was built as a cathedral during the Byzantine empire, but was converted into a mosque after the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople in 1453.

Erdogan later also announced a decision to transform the Church of the Holy Saviour in Chora, another Byzantine-era church in Istanbul, into a mosque as well.

Islamophobia in US: NYC woman accused with hate crime in attack on Muslim couple

Islamophobia in US;

Muslim woman activist kicked off American Airlines flight, spent four hours in custody

Quote

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A Queens (New York City borough) woman accused of shouting an anti-Muslim slur while grabbing a woman's headscarf and then attacking her husband was charged Friday with assault as a hate crime and other offenses, authorities said.

Giselle DeJesus, 35, was being held on $10,000 bond after her arraignment Friday, court records show. A message seeking comment was left for her lawyer.

Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz called the episode a “malicious assault” that left the husband with extensive facial fractures that needed surgery.

“A family was terrorized because of their religious beliefs,” the Democrat said.

According to prosecutors, DeJesus and the couple live on the same street in the Rego Park neighborhood, and DeJesus harassed the wife and the couple's two children in an encounter Sept. 27.

The incident happened on Saturday when Amani al-Khatahtbeh, a congressional candidate and founder of Muslimgirl blog, attempted to travel from Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey to Charlotte, North Carolina.

According to a statement from American Airlines, the incident between Al-Khatahtbeh and an unidentified white passenger began during TSA screening.

American Airlines indicated that her arrest came after the on-plane confrontation, but her brother and the New Jersey chapter of the Council for American-Islamic Relations said al-Khatahtbeh was handcuffed for refusing to remove her hijab.

Quote

Al-Khatahtbeh later shared her experience on Twitter. She said the man had her removed from the flight because she made him feel 'uncomfortable'.

She then tweeted the airline directly stating: 'ONE OF YOUR MANAGERS IS TRYING TO GET POLICE TO REMOVE ME OFF 9:55 EWR (Newark Liberty Airport) TO CHARLOTTE.'

Al-Khatahtbeh shared a photo of police escorting her off the plane, saying 'Simply flying as a Muslim woman makes people uncomfortable.... unbelievable.'

On Facebook Live, she posted a video showing all passengers disembarking the plane after she and the man both refused to leave.

Her brother later shared an update on Twitter saying that he was en route to Newark Liberty to try and find further information.

He and CAIR-NJ executive director Selaedin Maksut both claimed that Al-Khatahtbeh was only handcuffed after she refused to remove her hijab.

'@Amani2020 was handcuffed by EWR police officers bc she refused to take her hijab off during processing. Muslim woman should not have to endure such humiliation bc they hold firm to their religious beliefs. Do better,' wrote Maskut.

'Only after our @CAIRNJ attorney asked to speak with EWR Port Authority police did they remove the handcuffs and allow for @Amani202 to remain in the cell with her hijab.'

Additional footage of the incident was taken and shared by an American Airline passenger who witnessed it.

The passenger also shared video footage of al-Khatahtbeh speaking with airline crew and police before she was booted off the aircraft.

'Had to get off my flight because a man asked a Muslim woman to get off the plane. @AmericanAirlines employees followed his request and gave the woman no explanation,' the passenger, @yesjaketapia, wrote beneath a video of the woman speaking politely to flight crew.

The activist - was named one of the 25 most influential Muslim Americans by CNN - is the founder of the blog MuslimGirl.

American Airlines added in its statement: 'We are aware of an incident that took place between two passengers before and during boarding of flight 2029 at Newark Liberty International Airport. We are concerned by these allegations and our team is working to understand what occurred.'

Twelve men charged in Germany with plotting mosque attack, murder Muslims

Quote

“They aimed through attacks on mosques and the killing and wounding of as many Muslims as possible to create civil war-like conditions,” the prosecutors announced in a Friday statement.

The prosecutors identified the suspects as 11 gang members and one accomplice – all German nationals between the ages of 31 and 61 – adding that they had met regularly to plan the terror attack with all but one pledging to contribute thousands towards a 50,000-euro scheme to finance the purchase of weapons

Austrian Muslims concerned over rising Islamophobia

Quote

Chancellor Sebastian Kurz called them ticking time bombs. But the most controversial part of the new measures is the creation of a new criminal offense that the government calls political Islam. If approved, this law would make it easier to close mosques or detain imams on charges of creating the breeding ground for terrorism.

The Labour Muslim Network, which is the largest group of Muslim members and supporters of Labour and is behind the findings, carried out a survey between July and August, interviewing 422 Muslim members and elected officials.

“There are definitely undercurrents of Islamophobia within the Labour Party, stemming from ignorance and systemic racism, which may not be overt but does exist,” said one female respondent.

Nearly 44 percent respondents said Labour does not take Islamophobia seriously, while 55 percent did not trust the party to tackle anti-Muslim sentiment.

“We must take swift action to tackle Islamophobia within our ranks,” said Labour MP Afzal Khan, in a foreword to the report. “Whilst the Labour Party has enjoyed overwhelming support of the Muslim community for decades, we cannot take their support for granted.”

I feel that Islamophobia in west is because of the highly violent image of Islam their. Moreover, lack of awareness about many things that are really important but are neglected easily.

1. Extremism :

Extremism has contributed a lot to Islamophobia. In the west, saying Allahu Akber out loud can be dangerous for a muslim. Because people will think of him as a suicide bomber or some fake jihadi. Definition of Jihad is completely violated. Definition of Sharia has become 'some sort of an extremist law'.

2. Fake Islamic Nations:

They still call Saudi Arabia as a vatican of Muslims. So, whatever the regime of Saudi Arabia does is a point for them to blame Islam and Muslims. Their dictatorship, their extremist laws, their extremely strict laws on women's rights etc.

3. Westerners believe 'Quran is enough':

From many debates on BBC and Guardian and Oxford Union or Cambridge, it can be easily understood that when they blame Islam directly, they base their arguments on the strong verses of the Holy Qur'an. They will provide you a whole stack of versrs from Qur'an that they have taken out of context. While they focus little on Islamic History. They know nothing about th ed life of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and you cannot talk about Ahl ul Bayt (عليه السلام) with them.

4. Politics:

An extreme amount of politics is done to brainwash the minds of the westerners. Defaming the Islamic nations. Use of media to infiltrate false informations about muslims etc.

5. Secular Islam as a defender

Some muslims don't practice Islam and are just follow some rituals. They don't pray much, they don't fast much. They are deemed as moderates and real Muslims because they can accept anything and they justify all their acts through illogical arguments. They simply try to justify secularism rather than putting the real image of Islam.  Such people present an apologistic image of Islam which is dangerous itself. People debate them on Islam and obviously find that their reasoning is not accurate. So, the questions are left unanswered.

German footballer Özil: We should answer growing anti-Islam sentiment with kindness

Quote

In a Twitter post, Özil quoted a verse from the Quran, "Good and evil cannot be equal. Respond to evil with what is best, then the one you are in a feud with will be like a close friend."

"Unfortunately Islamophobia & Antiislamismus [Anti-Islamism] is growing in Europe and in other parts of the world with media playing a big role in that," he said.

"My personal answer to that: We should respond to Islamophobia & Antiislamismus in a way that will not reinforce it, but rather disarm and silence it with kindness," the 31-year-old midfielder said.

So the BBC ask her how many female Imams there are.

If that number had been adequate they would have moved onto the number of gay imams and then transgender and so on.

You know the drlill.

She started off well by asking the interviewer to specify what a 'female imam' is (at which point the interviewer got stuck), but after that she seemed to struggle whereas she could have easily pointed out that women are probably leading prayers all over the country and that one doesn't need to be registered to lead prayers or to preach in Islam.

Anyway she is new to the job and will probably be better prepared next time.

BBC interview called out for being Islamophobic:

Quote

“The framing of the interview and clipping up of the ‘female imam’ segment for social media mirrored the style and tone of an accountability interview with a politician, rather than authentically recognising and engaging in what this represented for British Muslim women. Moreover, the false equivalence between imams with rabbis and priests in a religion that has no clergy reflected a basic lack of religious literacy needed for authentic engagement with British Muslim communities.”

I personally don't use the term "Islamophobia" because it is a loaded liberal term & reminds me of another loaded liberal term "Homophobia". Nobody is afraid of homosexuals, we just don't approve of what they do because it's against Allah's (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) laws and contrary to his design for mankind. Disapproving of what they do but understanding that liberal society gives them the "right" to do it, does not mean that I'm "afraid" of them.

I prefer to use the term "anti-Islamic sentiments". It's not that these people are so much "afraid of Islam" as they simply do not like it and disapprove of it's dictates and rules for it's adherents. The post above from Britain asking about "female Imams" is proof of that: Islam is disapproved of by liberal and leftist society because it has clear rules on the position and status of men & women within society, understanding that men & women are different from yet complimentary to one another and thus, have different rules pertaining to each of them. Of course had this question been answered in any way other than what it was, the next question would have been about the number of "gay Imams" and "transgender Imams" because the West is degenerate and is obsessed with questions of gay and transgender ideology, and it working overtime to force this ideology down people's throats specifically because it runs contrary to Allah's (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) design and intention for mankind.

https://www.lemonde.fr/politique/article/2021/11/03/la-theorie-complotiste-du-grand-remplacement-chemine-avec-eric-zemmour_6100783_823448.html?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1635952980

The commotion created around his friend Eric Zemmour gave him an unprecedented audience. On Sunday October 31, invited by Figaro columnist Ivan Rioufol, Renaud Camus left his castle in Gers to appear on the screens of the CNews television channel, owned by the Bolloré group. The far-right writer, convicted in 2014 of "inciting hatred and violence against a group of people because of their religion" and author in 2011 of the pamphlet Le Grand Replacement, popularized the theory that Zemmour hammers everywhere. As in echo, the quasi-candidate given neck-to-neck with Marine Le Pen recalled, Monday on Twitter, his leitmotif according to which "we cannot support two civilizations on French soil". With two words: "great replacement".

Seems like the French are taking the great replacement theory mainstream.

Quote

The Great Replacement (French: Grand Remplacement), also known as the replacement theory, is a white nationalist conspiracy theory which states that, with the complicity or cooperation of "replacist" elites, the white French population—as well as white European populations at large—is being demographically and culturally replaced with non-European peoples—specifically Arab, Berber, Turkish and sub-Saharan Muslim populations—through mass migration, demographic growth and a European drop in the birth rate.

USA: New galleries for Islamic Art in Museum of Arts

SHAFAQNA- IQNA: The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, has announced it will be creating new galleries for Islamic Art that will open in early 2023. The New Art of the Islamic Worlds galleries will measure nearly 6,000 square feet. A garden inspired by Islamic design will be part of the site.

The expansion is more than double the museum’s current space and will feature a selection of Persian artworks from the Hossein Afshar Collection, one of the world’s leading private collections of Iranian art, and a total of 300 works from al-Sabah Collection from Kuwait, the result of an agreement established by the museum in 2012.

Germany: Rise in attacks on Muslim places of worship

Quote

SHAFAQNA- IQNA: A Mosque in Germany was vandalized on Wednesday when unknown attackers painted a swastika on one of its doors. This is according to Turgut Ulker from Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs (DITIB), who stated that similar attacks on the Mosques in Dortmund were carried out last month and these attacks, which have increased recently, worry them.

“We demand that the authorities take urgent action and protect our places of worship. We will continue our fight against racism in Dortmund, together with all democratic institutions. We will continue to do our best to ensure that Dortmund remains a city of tolerance,” he said. The police, who examined the Mosque, covered the swastika with spray paint.

UK: 22 Church leaders support plan for first Muslim Mosque in Harrogate

Quote

SHAFAQNA- ABNA: Harrogate Islamic Association (HIA) has applied for planning permission to convert the former Home Guards Club, in Belford Road, into a place of worship. The application has polarised opinion in the town, as more than 170 people have written to Harrogate Borough Council to either back the plans or object. Bishop of Ripon Helen-Ann Hartley and 21 other church leaders in Harrogate signed a letter of support for the project earlier this week

Quote

It reads: “As church leaders in Harrogate, we the undersigned wish to express our support for our Muslim friends and neighbours as they seek a suitable site for a dedicated place of worship. “We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to worship and, without wishing to prejudge the specific suitability of the site. “We believe that the time is right for the creation of a permanent Mosque to serve the needs of Muslims who live and work in our community.”

One supporter, Caroline Linford, said the Muslim community in Harrogate “deserve to have a place of worship of their own” and this site “seems like a perfect location” as it is near the town centre. Another supporter, Jon Kelly, wrote: “I would be very saddened to live in a town that would object to this kind of application and would find it hard to explain to my children why this decision was made should it not be passed. “We should surely be welcoming to all faiths and encourage the opportunity to celebrate all manner of different cultures in our town.

Quote

”However, objectors have raised concerns about additional traffic on the surrounding roads and claim there are already issues with congestion and a lack of parking.

It comes after a number of people in Harrogate received anonymous letters last month which said they should object to the application because the Mosque would allegedly “only serve one section of the community”. Planning lawyer Gavin Boby, who calls himself “the mosque buster”, also said in a video that he had been asked to help campaign against the plans.

New Jersey Truck
