No of course not. In fact I have a book on Shaykh Kulayni and al-Kafi and the author mentions Behbudi's "Sahih" criticizing it.

I suspect he didn't only use isnad authentication on it, because there seems to be inconsistencies in that regard, but might have been relying a lot on whether he considered the text of the hadith itself to be correct. I'm not sure though.

^I think he didn't use isnad authentication at all.

I wouldn't go that far. I have a copy and am glad I bought it. Consider it perhaps more as a "selections from al-Kafi".

Does it have some explanatory commentaries on certain controversial ahadith (for example, the famous embryology one), or is it just one word gradations without any explanation?
