For the past several YEARS I have been addicted to Masturbation. I began committing this sin before I even knew what it was, and by the time I found about masturbation and ghusul etc, I was already 2/3 years into the habit. Many times I miss prayers because I am not in ghusul, or when I do ghusul I masturbate shortly afterwards. I am depressed because of it, I am afraid of losing the bounties of Allah.

What do I do? I feel hopeless, I am desperate for any sort of suggestions.

EDIT: I use to watch a lot of porn. Thank God, I have given up that habit. Even if I look at it today I feel disgusted.

Dont worry bro, just take it 1 day at a time, dont do it for a couple of days, and then you will feel good about that and it will make it easier for u to keep that streak going. Also the most important thing is to get involved, get busy, play sports and start being ultra productive.

seriously, just stop! Allah has made something forbidden and you know it, just stop it and ask his forgiveness. it is not like you need it to live. be patient till you get married and just stop it, remove yourself from anything that causes you to want to do that. when a thought of something sexual comes in mind, seek refuge with Allah. brother your only harming yourself! if your patient and hold off of sin when you get a wife you and her will have plenty of pleasure and fun and it will be lawful! JUST STOP IT! seek help from Allah, stop doing it yourself and it seems you already want to stop. so with those three steps all things are able to be stopped. but it is as simple as cutting yourself away from doing this sin. take the sizers of obedience to Allah and cut the cord of transgression. and stop it all together! you need to purfie your mind and keep your body clean by stopping doing such a thing and ceasing thinking of such things.

consider this, what would a few minutes of pleasure do for you when your genitals will have a eternity in hell fire for it? not too mention your useing your hands for transgression. do you really want to save your body from hell fire? then stop it. same with if your looking at women unlawfully save your eyes from hell fire.
