We are hearing a lot about the fighting between Sri Lankan government and LTTE Tigers. There have been heavy civilian casualties among many LTTE dead. It has caused an outcry among non-resident Tamils. UN team is also touring the area but they've been denied access to the war zone. With all that's happening, what do you make of the Sri Lankan conflict?

Are Tamils right arguing for a state of their own?

Who is killing whom?

Who is the lame duck and who is the hero? Who is the lasher and who is the looser? Who is the victim and who is the terrorist?

I guess not many shia from Sri Lanka :P

haha yeah. No one from Sri Lanka I think. And why would Sri Lankans visit ShiaChat lol.

I was a bit curious cos I might take a Sri Lankan airliner to Karachi via Colombo this summer IF I don't go by road. (Big plans lol) But I think Colombo would be safe - definitely far more safer than Karachi or Islamabad :D
