Assalamu Alaikom every1

with the increase use of short msges and msn msnger, and the strage language we use, does this lang. affect your English writing?

how does it affect it?

what does it affect most ? spelling ? grammar? etc

actually sometimes i find my self writing "ur" and "u" to my teacher !!

what do you think? is it usefull to use such a language? why do we use it ? can't we use pure English instead of it ?

thnx :P

we use it becuz we're lazy to type out a whole word -_-

it can get useful in some ways..like when ur in a hurry or something

i can use its basic forms no problem when texting. very limited sms speak is okay when writing informally, but if it's used too extensively then it gets annoying. with a full size keyboard, typing out a word doesn't take that long.

It's never affected my day to day language nor my English writing.

Of course its useful, otherwise we wouldn't be off msn for days . And also it makes texts so much easier to send not having to write out paragraphs. Its sort of like the "slang" for the writing.

:donno:
