Salam.

Last yr Shiachat had an information page about which Maulana was reading where around the globe in moharram. This information would be really useful again please!!!!

Esp if you can locate Mahdi Modaressi! thankyouuuu

English lectures will be delivered by Hujjatul Islam Dr Mohammed Ali Shomali of Iran where he is the head of the Department of Religions at the Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute in Qum.

12 lectures at the RNB Leisure Complex, 366A Stag Lane, Kingsbury, NW9 9AA

The programme will commence with Prayers, followed by eulogies and lectures. The Urdu lectures will be delivered by Hujjatul Islam Allamah Sayed Safi Haider SQ of India where he is the General Secretary of Tanzeem-ul-Makatib in Lucknow. This year the Soz and Nauha khani will be conducted by Sayed Kashif Raza of Karachi, Pakistan.

The Muharram 1430AH programme for Essex Jamaat is as follows:

Reciting Maulana: Sheikh Mohammed Al Hilli (of London)

1st Night of Muharram: Monday 29th December 2008

Please Note: Each weekday evening, the programme will commence at 8.15pm sharp.

On Saturday and Sunday, the programme will commence at 7:00pm sharp.
