salam alaykom warahmatollah wabarakatoh

great post my brother but i really dont know what to say !!

sheikh sadooq think that the prophet forgets but in a different way to us

shareef al-murtadha agreed with sadooq in a way

but many other great scholars refused this like sheikh al-mufeed and al-hilli etc

salam

The hadith quoted says that Allah swt made him forget, not that he forgot out of his own accord or due to shaytan (which is the case with us). Its important to make that distinction.

Secondly, I think you have confused Hasan alRabati with Ali ibn Hasan ibn Rabat. The latter is apparently thiqah but I havent found tawthiq for the former

Thirdly, the hadith says the reason that Allah made the Prophet forget is so that Muslims wouldnt get blamed if they forgot, and would say ''This happened to the Prophet''. But the problem with this is that Allah swt doesnt make muslims forget. They forget due to themselves or Shaytan. So its incorrect to compare the Prophets (supposed) forgetting, which is due to Allah swt (according to the hadith), with the Ummah's. So here we have a problem with the matn.

Fourthly, we have sahih hadith which gives more details, and says that he then prayed Sajdatu Sahw. However we have another reliable hadith thats muwathaq that says that the Prophet never prayed Sajdatu Sahw in his whole life, and neither do the faqihs (Imams). This means we have a contradiction. The contradiction is resolved by taking into account the circumstances at that time. Imam Sadiq [a] is reported to have said regarding one of the sunni caliph-appointed jurists that: ''I am unable to go against/disagree with Ibn Abi Layla'' Åäí áÇ ÃÞÏÑ Ãä ÃÎÇáÝ ÇÈä ÃÈí

áíá

So the likelihood is that the hadith was said under Taqiyyah, because (1) it agrees with sunni hadith yet, (2) has evidence opposing it and, (3) was said during a time in which Taqiyyah was necessary much of the time.

Ayatollah Tabrizi [ra] wrote a small book on this and mentions other problems with the hadith on this topic: http://tabrizi.org/index1.php?W3Village=rad/sahw/3#

Prophet (pbuh) and Ahlulbayt (as) physical aspects were the same like all other humans. They live and die. Spiritually they are different.

If we look to the Ahlulbayt from the logical and physical point of views, then we are looking at the "interface", the "body" or the "physical" part of the Ahlulbayt (as), the superficial parts of Ahlulbayt.

The same thing if we look at Kaabah and Baitullah. The same thing happened to Angels and Iblis when both looked at Adam (as). Iblis only saw the physical part of Adam. But Angels saw both parts of Adam (as).

All the capabilities within the wilayat of Ahlulbayt (as) are spiritual in nature. When the spiritual reality translated into physical event, we call it miracles. Once, Ali was sharing a bread with an old man. Ali could not break the bread. The old man was puzzled and asked " Ali! did not you who lifted the door of Khaibar and the same Ali can't even break a piece of bread!!!."

In reality, Ali can even break the earth (by permission), but will that serve as lesson to humans so they can learn!!!

The only differences between the physical parts of Ahlulbayt and us, their actions are ordained by Allah swt in order to ensure that they would interface better with humans. If they seem to forget (made to forget), it is Allah swt who ordered for them to forget because to give a lesson to other humans so that humans will understand the issue. But humans failed to understand and started to have doubt about infallibility of the Prophet and blame it to the mistake made. Rasul are the best examples so that humans can learn, therefore Rasul will be as human as possible. In setting up the scene to create the examples, the Prophet had to work it out with physical constraints (limitations).

Many grand sahabahs failed to see the spiritual part of the Prophet (pbuh). Many people of today and future will also fail to see the spiritual aspect of Ahlulbayt. They claim that muslims are disconnected with Ahlulbayt and the Current Imam because they only see the physical aspects of Ahlulbayt . Whereas Allah swt said that the spiritual aspect of Ahlulbayts are always alive.

Firstly, thats not the full chain, incase you haven't realised you are quoting from Man la yahtharahu Al-Faqeeh, so you might wanna go and see the full chain in Sheikh Assaduk's mashikhah.

Secondly, this narrations if it's saheh it can be narrated under taqiyah, as it causes contradiction with mawatheq hadith brother InshaaAllah refered to and its agreable with the sunni beliefs.

Answer from Theology:

Allamah Nematullah Jazaeri in his anwarul nomaniyya explain's sheikh sadooq's position as sahv fi sabeelillah. That is, in certain circumstances it becomes necessary [in order to communicate] to demonstrate sahv. Just as some might find mistakes with Grammar of Quran, we consider such occurances to in fact have a meaning behind unusual language - This is the sahv sheikh sadooq relates to.

The concept of partial ismah is meanlingless because how can you then differentiate as to when they are infallible and when they aren't? Their sunnah will no longer be hujjah on you.

Answer from Philosophy:

If you would have studied epistimology you would know that the only possible answer to false premise and the only way to protect creationism is to have an immaculate guide from the creator, otherwise you'd sink the quicksand of Gettier's cases.
