This is the guy that some Shi'as here support? He is just as full of rot as Bush/McCain - note especially what he says about Iraq, he wants the US army to be "freed up" to "deal with Iran" --- the jerk is already preparing a policy to attack Iran, and no doubt he'll bring some of the puppets in Iraq to side with his war.

It is a good thing the US economy has gone down the tubes, that will help restrain these sordid imperialists from killing too many people elsewhere.

1. Don't Vote,

2. If you insist on voting, vote for a third party: Nader or McKinney.

Once a Satan Always a Satan

By Kayhan Int’l Staff Writer

On Wednesday, September 24, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad opened the door for improved ties with the United States during a gathering in New York with more than 400 university students and professors.

He said the Iranian nation opposes conflict and is interested in amicable ties with all countries, adding that the great Iranian nation advocates peace and friendship and that better relations with Washington are possible under the next US leader.

Moreover, he said that it would be better for world affairs if Tehran and Washington ended their nearly three-decade diplomatic freeze, urging the next US president to try to ‘fix ties with Iran’.

Sadly enough, over the past few days the American officials have exactly done the opposite by stepping up their hostile rhetoric against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

On the other hand, Presidential Democratic candidate Barack Obama has also made it clear that “the gravest threat to Israel today obviously comes from Iran, that their radical regime continues to pursue the ability to build a nuclear weapon and continues to support terrorism across the region. President Ahmadinejad continues his offensive denials of the Holocaust and his disturbing denunciations of Israel.”

He has even gone further by alleging that “the threat of Iran is real and is great. And my goal as president will be to eliminate it. Ending the war in Iraq will be, I believe, an important step towards achieving that goal, because it will give us increased flexibility in our dealings with Iran and increased legitimacy in the region.”

Make no mistake about it. These unfriendly remarks point to the fact that arrogance and egotism have their deep-seated roots in the American officials and their presidential hopefuls, especially when we hear that Obama has even invited his Republican rival John McCain to join forces to issue a statement against Tehran while urging the US government and companies to cut off trade ties with Iran.

Obama’s inhospitable remarks is further testimony to the truth that arrogance has its roots in those who aspire to get into the White House – let alone those who have already established themselves there.

Certainly, it was because of such a bitter fact that nearly three decades ago, the late Imam Khomeini, founder of Islamic Revolution, called the US the “Great Satan” condemning the White House officials and the Zionist regime for their destructive interferences and atrocities in the Muslim world.

Imam Khomeini’s policy is now being pursued by our Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamene’i, who has always expressed disapproval of the White House warmongers at any given chance.

Ayatollah Khamene’i has never overlooked the fact that we cannot expect too much, i.e. respect and justice, from the “Global Arrogance” as “Satan will always be Satan and he will just find some loophole in the deal, with justice as his first victim.”

Anti-Iran circles seek waging Iranophobia: Russian official

Quote

On his Twitter account on Friday, Mikhail Ulyanov wrote that the problems with the access of IAEA to two sites in Iran stem from a large extent of the fact that there are no clear rules in the Agency on the use of information received from the third countries.

It is high time to address this issue, as Russia proposed long ago, to prevent a repetition, he added.

The issue of claims about Iran's nuclear activities was raised by the US and some of its allies, especially the Israeli regime, to cast doubts about the peaceful nature of Iran's legal nuclear program.

The US and its allies have provided the information in the form of a case study of alleged claims about the Possible Military Dimension of Iran's nuclear program (PMD) against the Islamic Republic of Iran, but Iran has responded to questions raised in this regard appropriately.

The IAEA Board of Governors closed the PMD case in 2015, so the implementation of Iran's nuclear deal or the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) gets started.

On Tuesday, May 8, 2018, US President Donald Trump unilaterally withdrew from the international agreement in violation of Washington's obligations under the JCPOA and announced the return of nuclear sanctions.

Trump's move has drawn widespread domestic and international condemnation.
