I never watched the show. Never heard of the show. I picked up the game, i thought it would be a good game. I only played like 15 minutes of it so far

So I decided to buy a Mac mini with M2. I don't need Windows anymore. I will just stick to playing Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 for my video games since they're of consistent quality. I will wait until next year to get an iPhone.

Jumped back into Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. I started it awhile ago, but then got frustrated and burnt out. Because of that I set it aside. Just a few days ago I decided to pick it back up and finish. I'm getting pretty far into it now.

I am not playing, sometimes I am watching my friend streaming, he is playing resident evil. completed 2 and 3 and now he will start with 4 once I'm done with my final exams.

I've completely given up on regular gaming and stick to a video game that benefits me like Ring Fit Adventure and Nintendo Switch Sports. I will wait for the next gen versions of these games on the Switch 2.

I'm yet to play the game but apparently some, the usual suspects, were complaining about it, claiming it's not diverse enough. Weird complaint considering it's a Chinese game about Chinese mythology set in China. Of course it's going to have an all-Chinese cast.

So Sony has announced the PS5 Pro yesterday. It is not that much better than the current PS5. It is also very expensive, especially in Canada where it costs closer to a high end gaming PC which I can build for less and put Linux on it. I do think the Nintendo Switch 2 will come out and be cheaper than the PS5 and PS5 Pro and sell well as the current Switch which has reached near PS2 and Nintendo DS numbers. For PlayStation, I prefer PS1, PS2, and PS3 for the consoles along with PSP for Sony's handhelds. Nintendo Switch 2 will be the best upgrade and will have phenomenal support. The Switch is already a good system and it has great exclusives like Metroid Prime 4 Beyond (which already will look amazing on Switch 2) alongside Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom among so many great hits. Switch 2 is what I will be upgrading to later on.

The PS5 Pro doesn't even have a disk drive either, which especially makes it not worth the price being charged for it.

I was so excited when I heard about the pro but when I saw the price my jaw almost felt off. Not going to buy it, prefer the ps4 I have.

I have a PS5, but it's the regular one. I don't even want the pro. The PS5 I have actually has a disk drive.

I don't have ps5, was waiting for the pro but won't buy it. Ps4 and Ps3 still have one of the best games. For ps5, I'm not excited for any other games except silent hill remake.

Honestly, the PS5 Pro price tag controversy is reminding me of the PS3 when it was revealed back in 2005, looks like Sony hasn't learnt from its past mistakes. You would be better off building a gaming pc or getting a used pre-built. Btw the new Warhammer Space Marine Game is really good, I'd recommend anyone, that is interested in Warhammer to get the game.

Yeah, the PS5 is where Sony goes downhill. The Nintendo Switch 2 is going to be one of the most popular systems and will outsell PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Nintendo Switch 2 will have good exclusives like Zelda, Mario, Pokemon, and Metroid Prime 4 as its selling point along with the Switch backwards compatibility. It's right up there with the PS1+PS2 and Nintendo DS as one of the best systems ever and the best portable after the Game Boy line and the PSP.

So I got an official DualShock 3 controller for my PS3 for $40. It's a good deal since official PS3 controllers can be expensive these days. Before that I only had 3rd party controllers for PS3 and those were the knockoff ones. I just need to give the controller a cleaning since it has issues sometimes with the inputs.

Yeah, I definitely see the similarities and I agree, I can build a gaming PC and install Linux (Pop! OS or the new Ubuntu 24.10) and use it that way.

So I cleaned up my PS3 DualShock 3 controller and it works perfectly. I also got Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for my PS3. It's cheaper than getting the Master Collection on modern platforms, including the Switch and PS5.

No Nintendo Switch? It has fun games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, Pokemon, Mario games including the sports games like Mario Tennis Aces, Mario Golf: Super Rush, and Mario Strikers: Battle League which alongside Nintendo Switch Sports's version of soccer blows away FIFA/EA Sports FC any day of the week. I play more Switch Sports though. There is also Metroid Prime 4: Beyond coming out along with Metroid Prime Remastered. I love the Nintendo Switch a lot. It's one of the best consoles and handhelds ever right up there with the PSP, PS1, PS2, PS3, and even PS4.

In my case, i had a work pc that i use normally for app development, therefore it was easier for me to throw in a graphics card and check out some games.

So I managed to get The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom for my Nintendo Switch. It's really good.

So the Game Awards happened and Astro Bot was on a constant winning streak. I do think Nintendo should have had The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom win action adventure and Princess Peach: Showtime win best family game as well since Nintendo is strong in making family friendly games alongside with the occasional mature game like Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Bayonetta 3. I have nothing against Astro Bot though. I do hope to get a PS5 and Switch 2 next year inshallah.

So I have had a blast playing Tekken 6, Final Fantasy XIII, and Soul Calibur IV on my PS3. They're pretty good games on PS3. I do prefer Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy X a lot more though and Kingdom Hearts 1, I'll try to get Kingdom Hearts II as well.

So finally the day has come, the Nintendo Switch 2 has finally been unveiled. More info will be revealed later in a Nintendo Direct on April 2nd this year.

All I can say is that I look forward to upgrading sooner or later. It's a massive improvement over the current Nintendo Switch. I am hoping for affordability much like Xbox Series S and not super expensive like PS5 and Xbox Series X are, especially in Canada.

So a Nintendo Direct aired two days ago. Here it is.

One thing I am excited for the most is Metroid Prime 4 and the virtual game card feature for digital games now.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond looks epic and amazing at the same time. It's the most hardcore game Nintendo has ever produced aside from Bayonetta 2 and 3. I will get it alongside the Switch 2 down the line insha-allah. Next week will be the Switch 2 Direct and I hope for the Switch 2 enhanced version.
