I'm having fun playing Company of Heroes. I give it a 10/10. I don't play online but I play in Skirmish mode with AI players. Great game. If interested, just buy the latest stand alone expansion CoH: Tales of Valor. The best part is that I can play as Germans. :!!!:

I've completed Fallout 3 and I think its my kind of a game. Shooting ghouls while listening to GNR radio is soo my thing!... I'm playing again and this time I'm exploring each thing and doing every quest. Next on the gaming menu are its expansions. I'm very happy to have left the enslaving mmorpg's, I knew that the single player games would always be a lot more convenient and interesting. They just need to keep up the good work and keep giving us quality titles imo. :)

How did you manage to finish such a hard game? i am still stuck in level outside the vault.

anywho i am playing assassin's creed 1. such a great game. 2 is out soon.

I suggest that you read some of its walkthroughs. There are some simple things to remember and functionalities to know about. For combat, get close enough so you are accurate and use the turn-based VATS system (by pressing V) to target the head of anyone with a gun or the legs of those holding a melee weapon so they get immobilized. Same for animals. VATS will let you conserve ammo, remember that this is not a first person shooter and ammo is scarce.

The next thing to remember is to repair your armor and guns and find better ones. There are special and powerful ultra rare guns and gadgets to be found in the world. You can know the quests for them or their location by googling or reading walkthroughs/guides. Imo the game is all about quests, both the main quest and all the "side quests". There are many things the game will make you admire and contemplate, unlike a mindless shooter or mmo. Its story is excellent too.

You should also keep an eye for looting ammo from your victims, guns and armor to repair your own with, money, readable books, meds. You can also sell all of this stuff to make money. If you gather enough money (a lot so it'll take a while) you can buy your own house in Megaton city where you can setup your own medicine lab, healing machines, a fridge to have your own chilled ice-cold nuka cola's, a jukebox, and stuff like that. You can also dump all your excess baggage and lootings in your home.

So from the vault, head to Megaton city first which is closeby. There are quests here which you can do. You can also ask people about the location of other nearby towns. After a few levels and once you get a few nice guns you'll be ready to go anywhere and explore. Exploring the downtown and the subways is the most fun imo - lots of fighting too. Keep an eye on your Karma and the perks you take. Remember to spend the skill points in whatever you deem important. Repair skill is important imo as it will save a lot of money.

You can also find friends and companions who will fight alongside you if you feel the need and have the right, matching karma. Like this dog, called "Dogmeat". :D

The economy still works after the nuclear attack? Why cant you just take the house? Isnt everyone (except cockroaches) supposed to be dead?

There are some genetically intact survivors, yes, and they have set up little towns around the ruins of the DC area. They don't use money as in currency but rather nuka cola (a beverage's) bottle caps work as currency. Then there are mutants who are mostly too violent to be counted among the civilization or whatevers left of it. Also there are the ghouls, people who have suffered too much from the radiation and look horrible, almost like zombies, and generally aren't tolerated or allowed near those towns so they have their own town called Undercity. They are intelligent and also accept bottle caps as currency. There are lots of outlaws like slavers, scavenging raiders and evil scientists, bigshots and then there is the secret govt. that has also managed to survive (The Enclave) and regroup, and is hell bent on taking over the post apocalyptic America once more. Then there are the Brotherhood of Steel who are mostly good guys by virtue of their constructive and positive principles and are enemies to the Enclave. The reason why humanity has survived in the game's post nuclear apocalypse setting is due to the great underground nuclear shelters called vaults which were built all over America. It's lore is quite interesting and this is the game's third part, each one is, surprisingly, a masterpiece.

Btw the house is rewarded to you by its sheriff if you help the Megaton city by diffusing the unexploded atomic bomb lying in the center of it. But the luxurious items in it can only be bought (or stolen if you are an expert thief). Perhaps you can also simply break into it and occupy it if you are evil. The sheriff might not like that, but I haven't tried the evil or neutral karma route yet, which have different endings, dialogue options and experience. It gets cruel at times and due to the cute characters, real voice acting and the consequences (you might have to wipe out a whole town if a big gunfight starts) I didn't try the evil or neutral karma alternative. The game's simulated setting is very gripping and dynamic. I still had a lot of good killing playing as a good character because there are lots and lots of evil slavers, raiders, bigshots, mercenaries, frenzied ghouls, and even remnants of the Chinese invasion force, and even evil robots.

Now even the girls are going belligerent. Oh Heaven, take me to thee. -_-

It's only a game :P

^For adventure get Super Mario Galaxy either the first one or the sequel. You could also look into Okami.

Have a look at the top Wii games:

Fall out 3 is fun as hell. I have tried to be good ( karma wise) ... some lady just gives me things for being so nice. I wanna try being evil .... but i would recommend not blowing up megaton because you wont have a house... and i would also recommend saving the sheriff in the beginning.

For all of you call of duty fans, you should check out battlefield bad company 2, its SICK, destructible environments, and obviously a lot of variety, not like COD where its just liek counter strike, it gets boring after a while. Anyways EA released BF 1943 as a downloadable version, its 14 bucks and its super fun.

Battlefeild> Call of duty anyday as I have played both.

Fifa 09 is what I mostly, play, I also have nba 2k9 but I got tired of owning everyone online.

I just got COD WAW...And it doesnt work...I had to buy a Video Card and more RAM...lol. This game is expensive. I hope its worth it.

I loved the game, very nicely done. I especially liked playing as the Russian sniper/soldier moreso than the American Marine.

I also got addicted to the special level you get when you beat the game (I won't ruin the surprise).
