(salam)

 Inna lilahi wa inna ilayhi raja3oon. Please recite a fatiha for her soul, and please keep her in your duas. This is so unexpected....she was such a sweet and passionate sister. Life really is too short to be focused on dunya

^ I think they should make the announcement with link to this thread in red on the top of this forum like they always do when something important happens..

so that everyone who visits this forum would immediately read this thread and they can pray for her soul

What did you send her and do you live nearby? Can you find out what happens to her daughter..... I just still can't believe it and I'm sad that I'm the one who found out that she's gone.. I thought she knew many people in SC in real life.. :(

I sent her a card (I sometimes sent things her way because I knew she was in a tough time. Most of our communication was through writing)... I never met her in person and I do not live nearby to her. I don't even know how I would go about finding out about her daughter... who I am just so worried about. I have her phone number... but it is probably disconnected now...

Inna Lillahe Wa Inna Ilayhe Rajioon

This came as a big shock to me. She had said she was recovering form her disease. I ahd sent her a message asking if shes ok but I didnt receive a reply which was a bit strange and I feared that she might have passed away. Today I got this awful news. :(

^ as far as I know she's the only muslim in her town/area... I'm not sure, she mentioned this on one of her posts but I can't search on her posts, strange. I was wondering about that too, but either way.. it's too late because she died last month :(

inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji`un

Did any Muslim know her in person, and/or was she part of an actual community? I'm thinking about the ghusl al-mayyit, janaza and the salat al-mayyit. Can anyone check on this?

I was wondering the same thing actually... I don't know about any of those things. The sister was a convert and her family is all non-muslim from what I understand....

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun.

This is really upsetting; she had so many difficulties. I wondered why she hadn't posted. My heart goes out to her daughter; I wonder how she is coping.. I'm sure she would have made arrangements for her.

(salam)

It is one of the saddest moments in one's life to know about someone's death, and although i didn't know her much since the day i joined i haven't seen her post here as much, i am still sad to hear of her passing away since i read some of her posts and they were full of intelligence and knowledge that no normal soul can possess. May Allah bless her eternally forever in the highest of realms under the tutelage of Lady Fatima (sa)

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Rajiun

For all i know of her she was struggling for her children along with her sickness. She was fighting in the cause of Allah and thus she is a martyr.

"Think not of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead. Nay they live finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord. (Surat Alee-e-Imran 3:169)"

"Do not say about those who are slain in the cause of Allah, that they are dead. Nay, they are alive, but you do not perceive it". (Surat Al-Baqarah 2:154)

Inna lilah wa inna ilaihi raji’oun.

This is very disturbing news indeed. I didn’t know the sister at all but her love for Islam and her intelligence made her posts on these forums glow and I’m certain many have benefitted from her wise advice. May Allah [swt] now compensate her and manifest her light in her daughter especially.

Please recite Al-Fatiha.
