When I did sin,I was regret,I couldnt stop crying,I just wished to die, when I opened Quran, and started reading it,there was written:

قل يا عبادي الذين اسرفوا علي أنفسهم لا تقنطوا من رحمة الله إن الله يغفر الذنوب جميعا إنه هو الغفور الرحيم

It s the best thing that I heard from my Friend,Allah.

Ofc there r another things that I heard from my family,my teachers,my friends, but I dont wish to tell them!! ;)

"I'm so proud of you"

It's a tricky one. When some people say it, it annoys me, frustrates me, angers me. I don't want them to be proud of me, they don't deserve to be proud of me.

But when certain other people say, I feel so validated, appreciated, noticed.

While taking pictures in turkey. My older brother said: "Bare your teeth, Randell. Your smile is beautiful." Only because no one had ever said that before and because I didn't think so at the time. Speaking of the "angel", he just messaged me haha. Got to love your siblings, alhamdulilah for the blessing ♥

To make people like me feel even worse about not having anything to share on this thread.

Look around and you will understand that people have told you nice things, but you were busy and forgot what they said. You have written things at ShiaChat that people liked. When they liked your post they were telling you, "Hey, I like what you said."

When I first saw this thread, I thought it was a means for the posters to show gratitude. However there is a danger that it can become a means to boast.

Bismehe Ta3ala,

Assalam Alikum.

My brother Marbles. God bless him & his family. I'm always learning from him, Mash'Allah his knowledge from all sorts of subjects. I wish he would give hawza a try if he could. I see him as a leader.

Brother Marbles said in another thread:

A paragon of sacrifice and rectitude, good sis Layla.

M3 Salamah, FE AMIN Allah

From a Professor:

"I would be very happy to recommend you. It will be my pleasure and honor."

And then I thought about Salatal-Layl...if we wake up and perform this prayer in the middle of the night...Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) points at us and shows us to his angels. We have the potential of being the honor of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى)...

Imam Sadegh (عليه السلام). : Our Shia are a part of us, and they have been created from the extra clay that we have been created from. Whatever makes us happy makes them happy, and whatever saddens us, saddens them." ((امالى، ص 305))

I have the honor of being a part of the most honorable creatures to ever walk on this planet. When I'm upset for Imam Hussein, it's not even something that's in my hands...it's because of what I'm made of...

This thread is too cute

I think the nicest thing someone has ever said to me is that I'm like a Diamond - beautiful and indestructible.  I was blushing real hard :hahaha:

I love that one!

A fellow Muslimah that I didn't even really know:

You have such a nice smile <3

Aww that's so cute <3

Another thing a friend told me was "Your eyes are the prettiest thing I've seen all day"

I couldn't stop blushing after that, lol.

For me, it would definitely be "I see you improved" xD. What matters is not so much the message but who says it. Was my teacher after a tough debate in which I fiercely disagreed with him in many points (of course, as always, he crushed me in the end xD). But it's nice to find people that can see that improvement is not so much about agreeing to their opinions, but actually building your own opinions (even if they are wrong) and be able to defend them with your knowledge.

I'm pretty sure I posted this before, but my cousin once told me: His silence is worse than a thousand curse words.

This was in regards to a specific incident. He said something and I ignored him. I don't remember what he said, I just remember it being styoopid.
