Any Shias And Imambargahs In New Brunswick

Ok someone I know is moving to Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. He wants to know if there are any Imam Bargahs, Mosques and Shias over there to meet up? I mean how can he live without Azadari?

So please help this poor guy out and tell me if you know any mosques, imam bargahs over there.

I'm from NB, but I know of no Twelver Shia centers. The closest I'm seeing so far is in Nova Scotia: http://multifaithcentre.studentservices.da...rayer/Islam.php

It's been a while since I've lived there though (I'm now in the States), things might have changed. Looks like there is a Muslim organization in Saint John, but it doesn't appear to be a specifically Shia one: http://manb.ca/

Maybe he should contact the brethren at the one in NS and see if they know of anyone in NB.

I grew up in NB (born in PEI), but I haven't lived there since the mid 90s or so. Still have family (they're non-Muslim) there though, and do occasionally visit.

well wat do u think this guy can do? i dont think he can move. he thought of putting up signs at the bus stations that there will be a majlis at blah blah blah (his address) and all momineen are invited.

There are no Shia masjids, Imam-bargaahs or centers in St. John. But there may be a few Shia students at the university. I saw one when I went there a few years ago.

I mean how can he live without Azadari?

It's pretty easy, actually.
