(salam)

. . . for a friend.

I would never:

-- Phone in to her home to request them to send her over, when she planned to go some place her parents disapproved

-- Lie to her parents IF asked about something they suspected but wanted confirmation and I knew

-- Voluntarily rat on her on the supposition that this may help her

(salam)

1) betrayal/sell-out

2) never comprimise Islam with him/her

3) refuse to help

I will tell you three things I WOULD do though:

  1. Remind him/her of Allah
    always be there for him/her
    remain loyal

1. being co-dependant. example: feed into their problems by "helping" them when they get into trouble, thus allowing them to continue their negative behaviors.

I can't think of anything else. There is not much I wouldn't do for a friend, if their need is real and it is in accordance with my morality. I could probably state I most likely wouldn't do certain things like lie for them, etc. but I couldn't honestly state I would never do it as there are always exceptions to the rule.

-- encourage them to take shortcuts in life

-- ignore faults that can evolve into pernicious bad habits
