The first 13 volumes (which are available online) were translated by Allamah Sayyed Saeed Akhtar Rizvi, but unfortunately, while he was translating the 13th volume, he suffered a cardiac arrest and never recovered from that.

Don't know who is responsible for the translation of the rest of the volumes.

Actually no. The new translation is being done from scratch. It is not a continuation of the translation of Allamah Rizvi.

Nothing is wrong with that translation. From what I know they used excerpts from the old translation but it is not a continuation from the old one though. I got this information from the person who is translating it. They have been working on this for few years now and inshallah it will be released early next year.

http://www.almizan.org/ has quite a lot but not the whole.

When I was at Hyderi on Sunday, I saw printed Volume I of al-Mizan, split into a set of 10 books. I'm not quite sure, but I think it said printed in 1973 on the inside....so it's been around for a while...

i've been to almizan.org... I'm just wondering if the full volumes are available online in Englsih yet.....if someoen knows anyone who has it in English (physically) tell them I'd be more than happy to transcribe it online free of charge....

it would be great if there was a BRITISH (or EU) bookshop that sold the full, new, english version.

honestly guys, try your best to learn arabic.

There is other tafsirs to read, other books.

You miss out on a lot plus your at the mercy of translations with Quran.
