Salam All

This is my thinking , it might be wrong , but i want some serious disscussion please

Arab league says and believes palestine is a arab issue and DOES NOT like any one's else interfernce.

Even the arab shias look down at persian , indian , pakistani , afgahni shias as we apparently have mixed OUR local customs in shiaism.

We see arab racism against all indian , pakistani , bengalis in gulf countries .They dont regard them even as human beings ?

Arab league doesnt says anything against killing of africans by arabs in sudan.

Looking forward to a clean, calm, positive and constructive disscussion.

I don't know how the situation is in other Arab countries; nor do I think generalizing would be a good thing since it exists in every nation, but this is very, very evident and open in a country like Saudi Arabia.

Salaam Alaykum

Would you like your people to be called racist? "All Pakistanis are racists" or "Americans are racists" or "Persians are racists", etc. You can't judge a group of people as racist.

Now do I know about some Arab racists? Yes. I know of some Pakistani racists, also. Same thing for Americans.

Most arab governments are racist. They push pan-Arabism over islam. Pakistian are racist also and prefer only to marry in there race . Some Africans also do this and Turks . All of these thing are unislamic and show problems in ummah that hold us down. Sorry forgot Persian dislike Arabs and vice versa hide it sometime claiming shia/sunni issues.

Loving one's country and heritage isn't being racist and if bengalis or Pakistanis or hindus come to Arab countries it is to work because they know that pakistan, or Bangledash or India is a million times worst then those racist Arab countries. , and most racism seems to come from other Muslims who seem to have a horible inveriority complex regarding Arabs, and the situation in Sudan is not as simple as Arabs against Africans, as it is the government of China, Russia and Pakistan still have contacts with Amir Bashir and have many times told the un theat they would not vote any sanctions or any other penalties on the country..

no in saudi, its moslty because these people from pakistan india are a minority that they are targeted, plus most people who come into arabia to work and usually educated and are thus not as racist as thier counterparts back home, but arabs still are because they are not very educated.

and thats just natural, usually education leads to awareness and less racism, if arabs were to go work in india and pakistan , im pretty sure they would be treated worse then pakistanis and indians in arabia

because of jihalat

im talking in general, racists people are everywhere in every race

Brother I know many many educated and some very rich Arabs in Saudi Arabia and UAE and Oman, so it is not very good to generalize.

yea im not, i no there are more then enough educated people there, im just saying that in general racism comes from jihalat, and since most people who migrate there for work purposes are educated, they are most liekly victimized by the uneducated people in arabia

people like that are everywhere

im just saying it all seems racist to people because arabs dont really go work in desi countries as desi people do in arabia

Are Arabs racist?

Hmm.

Well, let me ask you the same question.

Are Desis racist?

Are Kurds racist?

Are Africa-Americans racist?

Buddy, we live in a world where in every single country -->city-->community-->residence consists of racism. The concept of racism is enevitable. Therefore, what good does stereotyping do?

However, I may agree with you to a certain extent that Arabs (mainly in the Middle East) tend to be more racist than the typical human. This is generally because of ignorance and isolation from multiculturalism.

The question is a bit stupidly posed.

"Arabs" is not a race, as it includes a variety of ethnicities.

The Arab League does not represent the average arab individual. It represents a number of authoritarian states who are opposed by most of their subjects.

Hence, the accurate question should be "Are arab government policies vis-a-vis non-arab foreigners discriminatory?". The question would be a conditional yes, depending on which of the 22 members of the Arab League you are talking about (most of them have preferential treatment of citizens of fellow arab countries).

Palestine is a totally different matter. Palestinian leaders for the past 60 years (minus a few exceptions) have considered it a national issue, and have not invoked Islam other than as a tool among many others. Hamas, which assumed power just a few years ago, changed that trend but its ideology is questionable (Salafism according to some of the founders, heavy anti-Shi'i tendencies among the leadership).

Many Arabs are quite abrasive in their ethnocentric beliefs. Arabs aren't the only ones who practice ethnocentrism, but the way they look down upon the Islamic World that is Non-Arab (80%), is very interesting. Its also very easy for one that is light-skinned to look down upon a darker-skinned counterpart, so its only natural that they wouldn't hold Sub-Continental, East Asian, and Afro-descent Muslims in high regard.

o sorry mr. know it all . why not break it down to people living in street 23 of baghdad are racists towards desis living in east london OR people living in house no 245 of some riyadh road are racist towards people living in a suburb of dhaka Bangladesh.

Obvioulsy we are not generalising any thing , every nation ,race has good and bad people , there are racist pakistani, indians , bengalis , kurds etc but there are always good and bad people in every race.

many people actually agreed that general behaviour of people on arab street is arrogant and they dont regard non arab muslims as equal to them. what do you people think of

"Even the arab shias look down at persian , indian , pakistani , afgahni shias as we apparently have mixed OUR local customs in shiaism"
