Asalamu Alaikum brothers and sisters

I came across this disturbing site today and I was appalled at what I saw. This site is about ex-Muslims who have converted to Atheism and are now making it their mission to "expose" Islam. They say, [i:post_uid13]"Faith Freedom International is a movement of secularist ex-Muslims to unveil the REAL Islam and bring Muslims into the fold of humanity. Faith Freedom stands for freedom of faith and freedom from Faith. We are against Hate, not Faith. We revere the human RIGHTS not their beliefs. We support the truth and have no regards for political correctness."[/i:post_uid13] The site can be viewed by clicking on FAITH FREEDOM INTERNATIONAL

Now here's the thing...the moderators of the site [b:post_uid13]promise[/b:post_uid13] to shut down the site if a [b:post_uid13]Muslim[/b:post_uid13] can disprove their accusations on Muhammad (pbuh) and Islam. Go to CHALLENGE to view it. There are already a few Muslims taking up on this challenge. Please brothers and sisters, if any of you have time take up on this challenge. The accusations written on Islam and Muhammad (pbuh) are so terrible and untrue.

Take care

Dear Sister Chastity,

Salaamun Alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatohu.

The site that you mentioned, is indeed awful, MAY THE LAANAT GHASAB OF Allah SWT BE UPON IT AND OTHER SITES LIKE THESE, AND UPON THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE SUCH FITNA AGAINST ISLAM AND ALL MUSLIMS. AMEEN SUMAMEEN. AND THEIRS IS AN AWFUL DOOM HERE AND IN THE HEREAFTER.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, unfortunately you will find many sites like these making Slanders against Allah SWT., Prophet Muhammad Mustapha SAW., Ahlul Bayt A.S., Sahaba Ikram and the Muslims in general if one goes to google.com and searches for islamic sects and other search resources. You will find that apart from Muslim comments on Islamic Sects, there are so many non Muslim sites attacking Islam and the Muslim way of life, ASTAGHFIRALLAH, this sickens me to the core while I am typing this post.

Brothers and Sisters what I mean to say is this:

It is an established fact that Muslims are split into sects and we all cherish our respective views on Islam, but we must realise where the REAL DANGER LIES. After having seen some of these dispicable sites. I am sure that many of you would believe that sectarian differences pale into insignificance when compared to the great threat from outside of Islam, the following can be taken as an example, the Muslims who have been suffering or being killed in Gujrat, India at the hand of the perpetrators. Do you think that the perpetrators will even care to differentiate between the sects of the Muslims, when they are slaughtering the Muslims.

Unfortunately these days much emphasis is given to sects of Islam that we the Muslims will or do hate other Muslims due to our ignorance. We are all guilty of this to some extent. This has in effect made our Iman weak and left us vulnerable to the clever opponents of Islam who have or will exploit all Muslims THEOLOGICALLY AND POLITICALLY AND ECONOMICALLY. We must cooperate with each other at all levels unless we wish to leave a terrible legacy for our Children of the future.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT INDEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Allah HAAFIZ.

P.S.

I am having to cut this topic short as I have to take my Wife somewhere and she is pestering me LOL.

Brothers and Sisters Imean to offend no Muslim, I just wish this posting to be an eye opener.

May Allah SWT. GUIDE US ALL AMEEN SUMAMEEN.

What kind of site is that!  Its too disturbing to go to.

Why did you post this!  it just increased the number of visitors, nothing to gain.

That author of that site doesn't provide any real proof.  I didn't read all the arguments, but he uses history to argue, which doesn't make sense.

I've read the challenge on that site and I have to tell you that Ali Sina presents a very convincing argument based not on other people's writings but on the Quran and Hadith therefore [b:post_uid0]I believe[/b:post_uid0] hacking his site will still leave his points unanswered and prove that his claims are somewhat substantiated,.....no? Wouldn't be easier to refute his claims instead of [b:post_uid0]just censoring[/b:post_uid0] his message?

Dont be surprised if you see the website come down very soon, because of a brother named Ghareeb.

sag_IMAM-REZA.....it is possible that I've might have misread the above quote.......btw, bringing that site down using legal means will hardly be successful since the guy clearly states that he's willing to take it down voluntarily if he's proven wrong..........

hey kafer, why do u call urself kafer????

because I was told that 'Kuffar' was the plural of 'Kafer' therefore I've changed it!  ;)

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Salaamun Alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatohu.

A continuation from yesterdays post.

Brothers and Sisters, I feel that our respective Scholars should cooperate wih each other when we face a common enemy like this. Many of us live in a hostile environment which is opposed to Islamic values and is eating away at us especially in the West. It is true that we in the west are given exellent opportunities to have a good basic education or are able to further our education or gain good career prospects. but many of us are rapidly moving away from Islam and slowly succumbing to the hostile environment and being assimilated into the mainstream society. There is nothing wrong in mixing with the society at large so long as we do not lose our precious Islamic Identity. The first Generation of Muslims worked hard to instill within us Islamic values and many of the second generation remained relatively safe from being totaly assimilated and losing our identities. The problem lies with the third and fourth generation of Muslims within these Countries who are steadily moving away from Islam due to many reasons ie not having the proper understanding of Islam or interpreting Islam according to their own whims. Many Muslims then rebel against Islam and Ethnic values. This problem is not peculiar to Islam but all Organised Religions, all religions are faced with the same problems in this Multicultural Society. As a matter of fact here in the United Kingdom, the Sikh, Hindu and Christian Communities from the Indo/Pak sub continent is being absorbed into the mainstream society far quicker than its Muslim counterparts. We are now in a society that does NOT object to the following :

Premarital Sex.

Losing ones Religion.

Keeping a blind eye to the students using lethal [Edited Out] tails of drugs, who would hold responsible jobs in society.

Authorities and responsible people are steadily being stripped of their powers to prevent miscarriages of justice,ie. parents to children, teachers to students.

It is in this context that Islam and most Religions uphold these values but they are steadily being eroded. The site in discussion and many like it play a big role in corrupting our youth who are our tomorrows future.

I am sure that all the arguments used against Islam on that site and many like it can be refuted on logical grounds , logical arguments can be given but the understanding must come from within but I feel that their hearts are sealed and are given a reprieve like IBLEES and his SHAYATEEN.

Brother Sayed Maher, it was good of you to make another posting mashallah.

Brothers and Sisters, if we keep mudslinging at each other in an extreme sectarian sense we allow the hypocrites and non Muslims to attack us collectively. May ALLAL SWT. protect us from this mischief, AMEEN SUMAMEEN.

Allah HAAFIZ.

Your Shia Brother in Islam,

Shahid Abbas Bokhari.

just, what do you worship then?

The need has not yet arrived for me to worship anything except my family.

how can you live with out the love?

Love from/for whom?.....Love for a divine being who allows its subjects to commit crimes against others in its name? Love for a loving being who will allow its subjects, including innocent children to live (generations after generations) and die under unbearable conditions W/O extending a helpful hand? What kind of love should I extend to or expect from a deity, who not only allows its followers to use any means they seem fit (killing, raping, enslaving……..ect) to enable others to see the ‘light’, but also rewards them in the ‘after life’ for all their efforts? Examples of [b:post_uid0]such love can be found in all major religions[/b:post_uid0], therefore I say; thanks, but no thanks!...btw what kind of love should I give or expect from a deity who lets mad dogs like Saddam, Sharon or Pinochet to live to old age and at the same time let others (my mom for example) to die young?

i mean dont you see every thing around and say geee thanks?

this is very intresting for me, will you xplain?

A great number of things will make me [b:post_uid0]feel[/b:post_uid0] happy and just as many (if not more) things will make me [b:post_uid0]feel[/b:post_uid0] sad, however at this point in my life I do not [b:post_uid0]feel[/b:post_uid0] the need to thank (or curse) no divine being for those……….

Kafer

Ps; maybe someone should email to MR Sina to enquire about the delay with his response……just a thought

i emaild mr.sina ,  (korf, i made a mistake and calld you an athiest when your just a kafar, so sorry.

Ghareeb did not raise any new issue. He simply rehased

the ususal cliche. It is just absurd that you Muslims

are unable to think rationally.

Nevertheless I am going to respond to him (as if it

really needed any) when I get some free time. I have a

lot more to do that is more urgent than answering the

same questions raised by Muslims again and again.

kafar, tell me what did you think of ghareebs reply to him?

Ok, I’m in no way qualified to question the Quran, nor do I possess enough knowledge about it to be able to support my would be claims, however since you’ve asked I’ll tell you what I, an outsider, could find wrong with Mr.Ghareeb’s reply;

As I see it, Mr. Ghareeb manages to avoid addressing Mr Sina’s main point in the [b:post_uid0]‘Women’[/b:post_uid0] section which IMO is the discrimination/not equality prescribed by the Quran.

Also I would love to see a refutation to 3:28, 5:33 9:29 if not else in the section dealing with the [b:post_uid0]unbelievers.[/b:post_uid0]

Further more, the answer to Ayat? 3:85 is extremely credible at first sight, however upon looking at 8:39 (was ignored/not addressed) you’ll realize; that will not necessarily stand up to further scrutiny!

And finally (I'll stop here 'cause I’m to lazy to further dissect the rest of Mr. Graheeb’s reply :D ) in regards of punishment for adultery he states:

As for the adultery, I will say only one thing, you have looked at the Sunnite punishment. No where in the Quran does it say that you shall stone adulterers to death, but instead it says:

[24:2]

The adulteress and the adulterer you shall whip each of them a hundred

lashes. Do not be swayed by pity from carrying out GOD's law, if you

truly believe in GOD and the Last Day. And let a group of believers

witness their penalty.*

Even in this case, the Shariah ruling is that the lashes are NOT to be severe, but only symbolic. And if they repent publicly, they are not to be touched.

…….yet his statement is somewhat the opposite of what is/was practiced in (shia)Iran!

[b:post_uid0]!![/b:post_uid0]Again[b:post_uid0]!![/b:post_uid0] As I’ve mentioned before, those are just a few ‘first sight’ observations of what I (with my Ltd. knoweledge of the Quran) can see wrong with that reply, so please refraim from yourselfs from biting my head off! :o

Kafer

ps; I’d like to know the correct spelling for unbeliever. Is it kufr, kafer kafir or what? Also I’ve noticed Mr Graheeb used the term ‘A Hizbollahi Shiit …’, so what is the correct spelling; shia, shiite, shiit, shi’ah or what?

(salam)

its Kafir, kufr is just plural.  you can spell shia any of those ways you mentioned, there isn't any real spelling, its not exactly english.  but I think shi'ah is the most correct spelling.

Wow, I didn't know you were an actual athiest, pretty interesting stuff.  So do you not believe in God because he allows injustice to occur?

Peace Aamir,

Thank you for the info! I've used Kafer 'cause as you remember Noora have told me so, however since others where using kufr and kafar, I was curious..... the same thing is valid with the correct usage of the word 'shi'ah'....and yes sag_IMAM-REZA, as crit13 has pointed out (thank you crit13! ) that term was indeed used, so take a chill pill my friend!

So do you not believe in God because he allows injustice to occur?

Although, as you've mentioned, the "allowing of injustice to happen" indeed played a significant role in reinforcing my conviction,(atheist if you will) narrowing it down as an ‘exclusive reason’ would be wrong!

Kafir

ps: my beliefs are somewhat similar to those you'll find here.

Peace Aamir,

what religion did you follow before becoming an athiest if you don't mind me asking?

Not at all! I was born atheist and so far I did not belong to or follow any religious school. Since my mother was a Christian (protestant) and my father is a Pantheist, they've decided that the only way to be fair to all parties involved (including me) is to [b:post_uid0]let me find[/b:post_uid0] my own path to follow....that's all. :)

Salam Alaykum,

I'm wondering if this guy "Ali Sina" in that Freedom site is putting all this effort against Islam, writing those articles, having debates, and and and, just because he is on the true side???

Why should he really care? Do you think he cares? Would he be spending so much money and time to bring up such a site?

I know Muslims do that for Allah(swt), for akherat.. but this Ali Sina claims that "poor muslims, they should know the truth".. ya right he cares!!!

I think that he is a paid agent... Probably Israelis or those spending fortunes to propagate anti-Islam has been paying this dude to bring up such a site..

what would you guys think? :>

Wsalam...
