(salam) If you were into trading card games as a child, then chances are you've played Yu-G-Oh! When I was in the second grade, Yu-Gi-Oh! was all the rage. All my friends played it, in addition to watching the anime, and I soon joined the trend. However, I never got around to watching the anime. Now, ten years later, I finally decided to watch the show. What I saw unnerved me. The show is filled with Dajjalic symbolism. The creators seemed to have had a fascination with Ancient Egyptian symbolism. The main character walks around with a trinket that has a One-eye engraved in it. Only a blind person would miss it. This trinket transforms Yu GI into a gambling master, with an Egyptian One Eye glowing on his forehead. Apparently, this gambling alter ego is actually the wandering spirit of an "unknown Pharaoh". I don't think this is a coincidence. The cult of the One Eye has started to appear everywhere. I never expected to see it in anime as well. What are your thoughts on it? Salam.
