    Salam, I am a Shia 20-something woman moving to DC in August for a job/fellowship. It would only be for 11 months, I'm having some trouble finding housing since I have only been there once before and that for a short time only. Are there any neighborhoods people on here recommend that are safe to live in? And please also let me know if anyone is looking for a female roommate/housemate or if you have any advice on where I might be able to find a roommate. Thank you!
