Salam, i have researched a little bit about the mystical believes of sufiya that also perpetuates in the books of many shia scholars. One of it is wahdat al wajood. Many mujtahidin of Iran have publish the books containing this aqida which they got from ibn arabi the famous sunni sufiya.. Scholars like Hasanzadeh Amoli, khominie etc have written the Exegesis of ibn arabi books as if he was, one of the scholars of shia. Why do our scholars perpetuate these deviant believes in shia population?

I know the controversy of this subject and at this point I just give up trying to stop it lol. I’m trying to get an understanding of Ayatollah Sestanis view on tawhid but I can’t find anything. I’m personally a believer in Wahdat al wujud and when I read najal balagha it’s so clear that that is what’s it’s explaining. And similarly in many verses in the Quran. I would never be so silly to dismiss someone like ayatollah sestani as ignorant given how many years he’s studied at the highest level and despite his labeling of Wahdat al-wujud followers as najis. But as of now I’m stumped and can’t see where to place him. He can’t be as certain schools in Islam where they don’t understand anything of Islam other than dogmatic practices. Wouldn’t make sense to me. Any help? -

Salaam, I am doing research on the concept of Unity of Existence since few days and this is what i have understood: - Everything is God, i.e. God has given us his powers - All the attributes belong to Him. - Evil is just the distortion of his attributes by us. Recently someone told me that in the concept of Wahdat al Wujud everything is considered as GOD.. I am God, you are God, if you see a dog then he is also God, etc etc... He said Wahdat al Wujud is nothing but Sufiism. Now can someone please explain me in a plain and simple language? [Plz don't provide me links of other discussions because i went through many of them and all are explanations are going above my head]
