Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim As-Salamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Who else is religiously-inclined, but has been born into a less-than-religious family? Those of us who have been face a unique set of challenges which our brothers and sisters blessed with virtuous families do not. At the same time, our experiences differ from, but can certainly find inspiration in, those of reverts. InshaAllah we will all pass such Divine tests with patience and wisdom. Does anyone, at any stage of life, currently have a similar experience? Inshallah we can all benefit from knowing the experiences of brothers and sisters who were born in less-than-religious families. Wa salam

AoA, my elder daughter is 3 and half years Alhamdulillah. For past few days she has developed this illogical attitude of saying NO to everything. Weeping extensively and becoming too sensitive ,for instance if an aeroplane crosses above from the sky. She is unable to coup up against her younger sister who is hardly a year old on matters like sitting on the same chair etc. Surprisingly, she shouts and rebukes back if told not to do something-starts weeping. So neither can you shout nor teach her in a polite way which implies a hurdle to me in maintaining her emotional intelligence. I am very concerned about her emotional intelligence and seek blessings from Allah and some worthy advice from the members. Important to mention here that i have allowed her watch cartoons like cocomelon etc which she recalls and mimic at times in a day. It will be difficult to completely abstain her from cartoons. Lastly, what mandatory qualities and skills do you believe a kid of this age must possess??

I just finished watching part one, and I honestly dont know what to say. You hear and know about these issues, but once you see them, it just crushes your heart. You just ask, why? How did this happen? IS their a solution? What would we muslims do for such cases, if it were to happen? This is just a tiny part of the bigger problem that is constantly happening.. Then I think about the middle east and what is happening their.... All I can say is, WE MUST MAKE THE CHANGE, FIRST TO OURSELVES AND THAN THE WORLD! Al Ajal Ya Imam Mahdi A.S! *There is some vulgar language, and may or may not include non-hijab women. edit: I was looking at part two's youtube comments and someone said something very interesting. Why would they bunch all these people together? It makes you think, honestly they are not at fault. (wasalam) Part two hurts even more :no:
