  1. Hope all of you have watched the movie Mukhtar made in Iran which is in 40 episodes. (English subtitles and Arabic & Urdu dubbed versions are available on Youtube). I'm watching it now with a bunch of others, all I can say - the movie imprints on your mind. We all have seen various positive changes coming in our lives by watching the movie. We are preparing a list of lessons learned as we are watching the movie which I'll post here. We are still not done with all the episodes yet. I highly recommend to watch it if you want to prepare yourself for the Last Imam (atf) and to have a better understanding on how to counter various tricks of wicked Imperialists. Allah bless all those actors, directors, financiers, and whoever helped in making the movie.
  2. Assalamu Alaikum brothers and sisters, I am muhammad the son of the leader of the true shia severs who believe that imam Isma'il (AS) is really the final mahadi(Syed yahya Burhanudeen, we did not believe in any one who claim to be imam after our seven imam (imam Isma'il AS). i am looking for brothers and sisters globally. please you can send me your email so that we can chat more. wassalam.
  3. Salam Brothers and Sisters, Congratulations on the day of Eid Al Ghadeer when Prophet (s) declared the Imam Ali as his successor and the custodian and guide for the ummah after him. Also don't forget the 1st SHAHEEDa of Ghadeer and Wilaya (of worldly and non worldly affairs both), our lady, the prophet's only daughter and imam Ali's wife Honorable Lady Sayeeda Fatima Zahra (as). She was murdered by Umer, Abu Bakr, Aisha and bunch of others for her relentless protest against the usurping of the right of Khilafa of Ameer ul Momineen Ali at the hands of the rebels and renegade munafiqeen. This is also a lesson to all those Shia who oppose Wilaya and the worldly rulership of Imamamat and in the absence of Imam, the leadership of the Wali-e-Faqih. Was salaam,
  4. Salam, Now that most of us are done with our Ashura commemorations and the past ten nights (as Quran describes it, the Layal ul Ashr), take some time to reflect and describe how you comprehend Karbala? Feel free to be creative and explain how would you apply Karbala in your life? Revolution of Imam Hussain is an ever living movement, please share in which way it has touched you? Some of the lessons learned for me are: 1. Divine leadership; Imamat, have to have it to gain ultimate salvation. 2. Do the right thing even if you are alone or by yourself. Don't seek approval of your actions from the herd. Do not get affected by so called peer pressure. Herd is mostly wrong. Analyze all kinds of popular trends before accepting one. 3. Refrain and actively stop from the bad things even if you are alone or by yourself. Reject all kinds of herd mentality.
  5. (salam) We Shias are recognized for 1400 years for protesting against the oppression on Ahl ul Bayt a.s in Karbala. We Shias believe that arresting the women of the holy household of Prophet (pbuh) and imprisoning them in dark jail by Yazeed was a blasphemous and insulting act done by Yazeed and his army and we protest against it with full zeal and passion. On the other hand our counterpart Sunnis have principle stand on it that these processions and protests are against Islam and innovations (biddahs). Some of the Sunnis like Salafis and Wahabis are too strict in their action against Shias that they consider it halal to kill Shias for doing all these activities. But after the release of blasphemous film by the damned American producer and actors, the Sunnis have literally converted to Shia. We saw huge processions against this blasphemous film. People were found wearing black cloths and black ribbons around their arms. Many people had black ribbons around their arms in protest against the film. Now is it not biddah? No this is not because they now have understood that protesting against oppression is part of Islam and sometime even obligatory. We saw that our Sunnis brothers went to strike in Pakistan on 21st day of September. I saw many Sunni brothers asking others to not to open shops and not do work on that day because a strike was announced and before them it was haram to work in that day. Amazingly, when Shia says that working for gain on the day of Ashura is haram because it is mournful day because the whole family of Prophet (pbuh) was slaughtered in Karbala by the tyrant army of Yazeed our Sunni fellows have objection on it and they call it a biddah. I am happy that at last our Sunni fellows have understood the true spirit of Shia faith and finally have converted to Shia by accepting Shia customs and traditions.
  6. While at University, I had begun to do a personal evaluation of my own faith based on my understanding of the historical proceedings that took place after the death of the Prophet (SAAW), I always loved the household of the prophet Muhammad. I could never wrap my mind around what happened to them after the expiration of prophecy, though interestingly I had no doubt in the “four rightly guided caliphs”. But after doing an academic study of the faith I was brought up in, and the history in particular, I decided that belief in God and living by the golden rule was good enough. I’ll just be ‘spiritual’ and call it a day.” Though I did come from a religious family I had a Sunni background with most of my family being of malikki denominations. The only exception to this background was that of my Uncle. At that time of he was a student of an offshoot of The shia seminary in Ghana known as Ahlu Bait. As “fate” would have it shortly after entering University I did in fact become a follower of the Jaafari school of thought. “Even after my rejection of sects in religion I had still continued to study somewhat and be open to different paths. Over time Shia Islam started to resonate with me more and more and my anti-sectarian religion stance started to soften. One morning my heart just wanted to be a Shia Muslim. Currently, I am a student in Malaysia, and the Malaysian community are quite aggrassive towards the shia and so i have kept my faith hidden, But sometimes, people still observe my practices and engage me into little debates why I do certain things, eventhough I am new to shiism, I have studied deep into thee shia faith and I have always have answers for them. Finally, I would like brothers and sisters here to suggest, for me which institute anywhere in the world where I can pursue immense knowledge in the the Jafari school of thought. I do not speak Arabic, neither do I speak Persian or Urdu, I only speak English and French, and I would love to study in any of these medium if possible, I rally have to because I consider my guidance as a light for my people, because most of them including the Ulama in my neighbourhood, still hold the fictitious allegations beliefs created by the Rawafids agaist the shia school. Like the belief Gebrail made a mistake and so on, These people have no idea about shiism and most of them have never even met a shia before but the hatred the bore agaist the shia is so grat due to their ignorance. May Allah guide us all. Salawat Alaa Muhammad wa Aali Muhammad.
  7. Salamun-Alay-kum, I am glad that the Muslim community is paying close attention to our global interest. As you may know, the mourners of Imam Hussain(as) are spreading throughout the world and are kept informed through the global reach of the internet. We are also able to voice our concerns and beliefs more openly than ever before. Yet, even with our mass amount of information and communication, much of the world still doesn't know about Islam, that is, True Islam . All they ever hear, read, or watch deals solely with "Islamic terrorism", "Islamic radicals", and "Islamic fundamentalists". When will they ever learn about True Islam? When will they ever know about the Islam of Imam Hussein (as)? If people ever found out about True Islam, they would know of it as a peaceful religion that helps the oppressed and fights the oppressor. A religion where size and power doesn't hold strong against matters of faith and virtue. We as Muslims have the Ahlul Bayt as a key example to this and we as Muslims must inform them. Whenever I send out emails/articles about oppressed people around the world, I do so not only to share the horrors that spread the corners of the globe, but to bring awareness to such situations, and to build a movement against it. Is this not what Imam Hussein (as) would like us to do? By mentioning Labback Ya Hussain or Say Ya Hussain(as) against terrorism in my correspondence, I see it as way to spread the message of Imam Hussein (as)...the message that so long as your fighting for a just cause, your victory from Allah can come in many different ways. In turn, this message enable others a chance to know about True Islam and the struggle of Imam Hussein (as). They will be able to find a common example and an excellent role model. I personally believe that our community of over 250 million can easily defend Islam's image in a world where everyone feels the need to tarnish it. We can also help defend the oppressed people of our time. Isn't it about time we made a difference? We have all the materials in hand, all we need to do is communicate our message and bring awareness to our cause. Brothers, I am serving in Islam's interest as an independent voice that translates basic research into a language that is understandable, reliable, and accessible for the public and in turn, global policymakers. In short, I am helping to bridge the gap between knowledge and policy. I urge all Mourners of Imam Hussain(as) to come forward and join this ongoing global struggle to clear Islam's image and to help those that need our help. Thank You and Regards, Raza Mehkeri Houston, Texas.
