Salam alaykum sisters and brothers and Ramadan Kareem! Yesterday I found out methods of Istikhara and how to perform it by doing tasbeeh (counting beads with a rosary). I performed the same night the same method given out by imam Al Mahdi (A.S) and the first time I got an answer telling me to do it (what is on my mind). I performed again (the same method) after and it instead said to not do it. I then a few minutes after performed another method given out by another imam (A.S) which I forgot whom it was and my answer came out to be to do it. And now a day later i performed istikhara a few times with the different methods by different imams and some of the answers were to not do it while others were to do it. I then performed the istikhara given out by prophet Muhammad (A.S) which you get an answer from by opening the Quran after following some other steps and then seeing which sentence you get. I don’t remember which sentence/verse I got but if I would translate it to an answer I would say the answer were to not do it or like to not do something without Allah allowing it. I’m now very confused, shall I do the thing in my mind or not. I don’t remember if I got “do it” most or “do not do it” most. But I think I got “do it” maybe one or two times more than to not do it. Please if anyone knows what you shall do (based on knowledges) can you please advise me? And please brothers and sisters avoiding telling me to not do it only to be on the safe zone because I really want to make my decision but of course seek Allah the almighty’s knowledge and permission first. Jazakhum Allah Khayr o3alaykum alsalam o rahmat Allah o barakato! Here is the link to where all the methods that I performed are: http://www.duas.org/istikhara.htm

Salam brothers and sisters, As Ayyam e Fatimiyya go by, I thought that I share some information about tasbeeh Fatima Zahra. Origins Imam Ali ibn Talib (as), Fatimah Zahra's husband, once told Ibn Wahid a story about Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) most beloved daughter. Imam Ali ibn Talib (as) said, Fatimah Zahra's (pbuh) hands were blistered from constant grinding; her neck had become sore from carrying water; her clothes would become dirty from sweeping the floor. When Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had received an influx of servants from some place, Imam Ali ibn Talib (as) suggested to his wife that she approach her father and ask for a servant. Fatimah Zahra (pbuh) went, but could not speak to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) because of the people who were surrounding him. Next day, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) came to their house, and asked Fatimah Zahra (pbuh) as to why she wanted to see him. Imam Ali ibn Talib (as) told the whole story to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), and said that Fatimah Zahra (pbuh) went to him on his advice. "Fear Allah (SWT), Fatimah," Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, "Fulfill your obligations to the Lord, and continue with your housework."Then, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said he would give her something that would be better than a helper or anything else she wished in this world, this is when Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) gives Fatimah Zahra (pbuh) the gift of this Tasbih/Tasbeeh and its is known as Tasbih/Tasbeeh of Fatimah Zahra (pbuh). And said when you go to bed at night, read the following: 34 times - Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest) 33 times - Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah) 33 times - Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) Most of us are well aware of the spiritual benefits of this tasbeeh. We know that reciting this after our wajib prayers is highly recommended, and that it secures our place in the heaven. But, someyhing new I learned in this year's ashra were the medically proven benefits. Well, there's two ways you would recite this tasbeeh, either roll the beads or recite it keeping count on your fingers. When you recite it on your fingers, you're gently pressing the pads of your fingers. This gentle press stimulates the pressure points on your fingers. The pressure points regulate the flow of blood to specific parts of body and keep them well and healthy. This study of pressure points is called "acupuncture". Then, this part of your gums between the front teeth as shown in the picture, is linked to your heart When you recite this tasbeeh, you sah Allah 100 times. SubhanAllah, alhamdullilah, Allahuakbar The emphasis on the "L" you put, between your front teeth, regulates flow to heart. So, along with spiritual benefits, tasbeeh Fatima (a.s) also has physical benefits. Subhanallah. Thankyou for reading. Khudahafiz!
Assalam o alaikum I have been told that Istekhara by Tasbeeh Beads (a.k.a. Istekhara- Imam Al Zaman) which is carried out by reciting dua and counting the beads of Tasbeeh is haram. I have been reading online about it and couldn't find anything regarding it as haram. But I need authentic resources which state that this type of istekhara is not haram. So please help me in this regard. I need authentic citations. Authentic books be them from shia Ulimma or sunni ulima. It is very important for me to have satisfactory answer because the person who has asked me this is sunni but he has inclination towards Ahl ul Bait A.S. and shiat itself. looking forward to your replies.
