  1. RTS article: Eid al-Adha "Festival of the Sacrifice" Salam. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem, May the Peace and Blessings of Allah (swt) be upon Prophet Muahmmad (saw) and his pure family (a.s). Eid Al-Adha "Festival of the Sacrifice", is celebrated worldwide each year. It marks the end of the annual Hajj to Mecca. In the Islamic lunar calendar, it falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah. It honors the willingness of Prophet Ibraheem (a.s) to sacrifice his son Ishmael (a.s), as an act of submission to God's command, before God then intervened sending his angel Jibraeel (a.s) and informs him that his sacrifice has already been accepted. 2. Salam. Dogs are impure animals, or, at least, that their saliva is a contaminant that voids a Muslims' ritual purity. It is commonly known that the Muslims consider dogs and pigs najis; this includes their hair, bones, paws, nails and every liquid substance of their body. The Messenger of Allah (saw) forbade the use of skins of the beasts of prey. Read here: http://www.revisitingthesalaf.org/2015/04/holding-dog-during-prayers-and-praying.html
  3. Salam. As Muslims we all know about the importance of reading the Holy Qur'aan. If we were to give an exhaustive account of the benefits we would not be able to do justice to the topic. It is a contentious issue if one’s prayer may become void if they happen to glance at a verse of the Holy Qur'aan whilst praying Salah – but this is dependent on whether the individual praying salah merely glanced at the verse or intentionally reading it, thus breaking their Salah. The fast of the eye is to prevent it from seeing forbidden things, Zina (adultery, fornication) does not refer only to penetration, rather there is the Zina of the hand, which is touching that which is forbidden, and the zina of the eyes, which is looking at that which is forbidden, even though Zina that is committed with the private parts, is the Zina which is punishable with the hadd punishment. 4. Salam. According to the Prophetic teachings as taught by the Ahlulbayt (a.s), the Imam who leads Salaah must fulfil specific criteria. However, this is in direct contrast to the frankly bizarre criteria of the so-called 'Ahl ul Sunnah' Hanafi school. Read here: http://www.revisitingthesalaf.org/2015/01/does-size-really-matter.html
  5. Salam. Writing The Holy Qur'aan With Blood And Urine [sunni fiqh]. For real Muslims The Holy Qur'aan is the divine message from Allah [swt] the Beneficial, the Merciful. It was given to us so that we could live a life of goodness and of righteous actions, to save us from ignorance. There is nothing equal to its magnificence nor will anything else ever be equal to its splendour. The Holy Qur'aan is the rope in which The Merciful Lord [swt] has instructed all Muslims to adhere strongly to. 6. Salam. Radical Muslim cleric Sheik Man Haron Monis has been revealed to be the ringleader in the Sydney cafe siege that has seen up to 15 people held hostage since yesterday morning. Monis was born Manteghi Bourjerdi and fled from Iran to Australia in 1996 where he changed his name to Man Haron Monis and assuming the title of Sheik Haron. The self-styled sheik did not enjoy the support of mainstream Muslims, according to community leader Dr Jamal Rifi He has gained media attention in the past for a "hate mail" campaign, protesting the presence of Australian troops in Afghanistan. 7. Salam. The Holy Qur'aan constitutes on two fundamental components; it's Tanzeel (Revelation) and Taweel (Exegesis). The Tanzil of the Holy Qur'aan is the revelation of it's verses and it's Taweel is the exegesis of those verses. Both components are combined together to complete the Holy Qur'aan and each one is dependent on the other. Moreover, one cannot be separated from the other in a sense that, one cannot conduct the Taweel (Exegesis) of the Qur'aan if there was no Tanzeel (Revelation) of it, because if we were to assume there was no Tanzeel, then there could not be any Taweel performed since there would be no verses to conduct the Taweel of to begin with. Like wise for the other way around, that is; if the Tanzeel of the Qur'aan occurred but there was no Taweel conducted on it, then the Holy Qur'aan would be an ambiguous codex scripture which cannot be understood to benefit mankind. With that being said, up to this point, we can affirm that the Holy Qur'aan does not consist of solely the Tanzeel, but rather it has both the Tanzeel along with Taweel working hand in hand to complete.
