Salaams, my life goal since I was a child is to become part of the 313.
I have heard that they fast a lot, (almost everyday) and pray during the night. I am trying to build up my spiritual connection with God almighty. And considering it is now winter and short days, I figured now would be a good time to start fasting everyday.
I am in my youth, so that makes it even better.
But I got two questions now:
1. Is it okay or is it Makruh to have Suhoor just before you go to bed after Maghrib, Isha and Iftar. (Usually go to bed by 9pm to 10pm). Or is it recommended/mustahab to wake up early in the morning before Fajr and have Suhoor at that time.
2. I am trying to gain weight and muscle, due to me being very skinny (45KG) and I am following this routine called the "Hybrid Calisthenics Routine 2.0" (you can search it up if you want it's pretty good).
I am devoted to being part of the 313 but the whole fasting thing I am afraid may contradict with my goal to gain weight. What should I do in this situation? Is it possible that I could still gain weight with what I eat at Suhoor and Iftar.
