Wasalam, Do you guys have any tips for those who struggle with praying at adhan time, and instead they keep delaying it? How is one able to rid themselves of such procrastination? Thanks!
I feel I'm not ambitious enough about financial growth. I just don't get winded up about it. Even though I need to get settled ASAP, pronto to turn my 3 year old nikkah into a marriage (rukhsati). But even apart from the marriage pre and post expenses. I want to get settled. I just fear the entire job/gig/work searching process and just can't get myself to do it. I see people starting with whatever comes their way and eventually landing some good job. And I just sit and wait for something 'perfect' and 'optimal' to come my way.... . Please suggest some al-Islam pdf content or personal advice for me to get excited about getting financially ambitious and eventually settled.... . I say financially ambitious because otherwise I like to study, keep myself up to date, keep my deen in place...
http://muslimmatters.org/2016/08/22/from-a-same-sex-attracted-muslim-between-denial-of-reality-and-distortion-of-religion/ Between denial of reality and distortion of religion. Finally someone sane spoke up truthfully on this matter. It's true many of our brothers and sisters are experiencing such desires, but it doesn't mean that we should give up and submit to them. Because committing the act itself will make you open a door that might never be closed, burdening you and making you indulge in such a lifestyle that will make you lost forever. You will feel purposeless like you have betrayed yourself submitting like that to this evil world, becoming it's slave... Nowadays the devil has the most powerful tools and one of them is the Media... With such powerful tools comes Great Responsibility.
